EFFECTIVE MAY 12, 1957; AND DIRECTING THE CITY SECRETARY TO ENGROSS AND EN-
ROLL THIS ORDINANCE BY COpYING THE CAP`TION OF SAME IN THE MINUTE BOOKS OF
THE CITY COUNCIL AND BY FILING THE COMPLETE ORDINANCE IN THE APPROPRIATE
ORDINANCE RECORDS OF THIS CITY AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Pubiic GTo�ks Director for the City of Fo�t Worth, Texas, has prepared
Plans and Specifications fo� the imp�ovements of the hereinafter described portions
of streets, avenues and public places in the City of Fo�et Wo�th, Texas, and same
having been examined by the City Council of the City of For�t Worth, Texas, and found
�o be in all matte�es and things proper, NOW THEREFORE:

The imprave�ent� provided for herein �hall be ��de and conatructed, notice
given, hearing held �nd ���essment levied �nd �11 proceedinga t�ken and had in
accordance with �nd unde� the ter�s of the power� and provisiona of Chapter 106 of
the Acts of the First C�lled Se��ion of the Fortieth Legislature of the 8��te of
Texas, now known �s Article 110Sb of Vernan's Texa� Civil St�tutes, aa �mended,
which law haa been �dopted as �n �mendffient to and made a part of the Charter of
the City of Fort Worth, Texa�, and under which law these proceedinga �re taken
and had.

unit of improv��ent end the ���e�a�e�t� herein pr�vided for �h�ll be made for the
improvemente i� each unit �c�ordin� �o the co�t of th� fmpravement� in that unit
and accordin� to th� b�nefit� �ri�in� fro�n the improv�ments in th�t unit.

In �akin� ���e�g�ent�, if the n�me of the o�ner be un�nAwn, it ehall be
aufficient to �� �t�te �he fact, �nd if �ny property be owned by �n eatate or by
any firm or corporation, it �h�ll be �ufficient ta �o �t�te, and it ahall not b�
neceasary to �ive the corr�ct n�me of the owner, but the real and true o�a�r� of
the property mentioned �h�ll be li�ble �n� the a��eaament� a�ainat the property
ahall be v�iid.

Unit 1, Basil Avenue, was initiated by a short-form paving petition in
c�njunc�ion with a building per-mit, which requires that a paving project
be initiateda
Uni� 2, Camilla Street, was initiated by a paving petition signed by the
�wner of 79 percent of �he adjacent prop�rty�
Uni�. 3, Francis Drive, was initia�ed as a r�sult of several adjacent
praperty owners appearing at the Benefit Hearing on September 29, 1975,
�o request that �he improvement of Francis Drive from U.Se 80 West to W.
Eli�abeth Lane be extended an additional bleck north to Doreen Avenuee

Improvements
All three units will be improved with residential grade hot-mix asphal-
tic concrete pavement, with concrete curb, gutter and driveway approaches.
Four-foot wide concrete sidewalk will be constructed on Basil Avenue to
tie in with the exis�ing sidewalk on the east side of the street and to
se�ve Greenbriar Elementary Sc.hool which is in the block just south of
this project�
