Home My WebLink AboutResolution 3422-10-2006RESOLUTION NO 3422 10-2006 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, CANCELING AND CHANGING VARIOUS DATES OF THE REGULARLY SCHEDULED CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS FOR THE MONTHS OF JANUARY THROUGH MARCH 2007 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, regularly meets on Tuesday of each week at 10.00 a.m. except for the first and second Tuesdays of the month, which are scheduled for 7.00 p.m., m accordance with Section 3 1 of the City Council Rules of Procedures, and WHEREAS, Chapter III, Section 5 of the Fort Worth Crtv Charter permits the City Council to meet at such time and place as may be prescribed by ordinance or resolution, but not less than 44 regular and special meetings shall be held each calendar year and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, desires to cancel the City Council meeting of Tuesday January 2, 2007 due to the New Year's hohday• and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, des~.res to change the City Council meeting of Tuesday January 16 2007 at 10.00 a.m., to Thursday January 18, 2007 at 10.00 a.m., due to the Martin Luther King, Jr Holiday and WHEREAS, the City Council of the Crty of Fort Worth, desires to cancel the City Council meeting of Tuesday February 27 2007 due to Tarrant County Days m Austin, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the Crty of Fort Worth, desires to cancel the Crty Council meeting of Tuesday March 13 2007 at 7.00 p.m. due to the National League of Cities Congressional Crty Conference m Washington, D C scheduled for March 10~' through the 14tH NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, THAT 1 The Crty Council meeting of Tuesday January 2, 2007 is hereby canceled. 2. The Crty Council meeting of Tuesday January 16, 2007 is hereby changed to Thursday January 18, 2007 at 10.00 a.m. Resolution No 3422 10-2006 Page 2 The City Council meeting of Tuesday February 27 2007 is hereby canceled. 4 The City Council meeting of Tuesday March 13 2007 is hereby canceled.
