ADOPTING THE EIGHTH AMENDMENT
TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH'S ANNEXATION PLAN
WHEREAS, on December 14 1999 the City Council approved Resolution No 2598 adopting
an annexation plan for the City of Fort Worth in accordance with Section 43 052 of the Local
Government Code;
WHEREAS, on October 29 2002, the Crty Council approved Resolution No 2884 adopting the
third amendment to the Crty's annexation plan identif}nng approximately 7 744 acres referred to as the
287 Zone;
WHEREAS the Crty Council approved Ordinance No 15389 annexing the 287 Zone for
hmrted purposes on January 7 2003
WHEREAS pursuant to Section 43 052(g) of the Local Government Code, the City may annex
the 287 Zone for full purposes during the 30-day period beginning October 29 2005
WHEREAS Two SR. L. P owner of 11 8 acres of land the in W Bramlett and H. R. Ryan
Survey (M.E P & P.R.R. Co No 12) north of Avondale Haslet Road and East of Sendera Ranch Blvd
has petitioned for full purpose annexation of the property by the City of Fort Worth for the extension of
Sendera Ranch East Addition.
WHEREAS, the 11 8-acre parcel owned by Two SR. L. P is m Area B of the 287 Zone
included m the third amendment to the Crty's annexation plan.
WHEREAS the Crty Council established a timetable for the proposed voluntary annexation of
the 11 8 acres on February 22, 2005 (Mayor and Council Communication PZ 2570), providing for
institution and consideration of approval of the annexation on May 10 2005 m accordance with Chapter
43 Subchapter C 1 of the Texas Local Government Code,
WHEREAS, Two SR., L. P has requested that the City remove the 11 8-acre parcel from the
City's annexation plan so that the area can be annexed on May 10 2005 or as soon thereafter as
practicable as an exempt annexation pursuant to the procedures set out in Chapter 43 of the Local
Government Code, Subchapter C 1
WHEREAS Section 43 052(e) provides that a mumcipahty may amend rts annexation plan at
any time to remove an area proposed for annexation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH.
That the City's annexation plan is hereby amended to remove approximately 11 8 acres out of
the W Bramlett and H. R. Ryan Survey Tarrant County Texas, as shown on Exhibit A and described
in Exhibit `B" at the request of the property owner Two SR. L. P in order to facilitate the voluntary
annexation of such property
This resolution is adopted and effective this ~ pkh day of May 2005

• ANNEXATION DESCRIl'TION
BEING a tract of land situated m the W Bramlet and H.R. Ryan Survey (M.E.P.& P R.R. Co No 12),
Abstract Number 227 Tarrant County Texas and being a portion of that certain tract of land described by
deed to TWO SR, L.P as recorded m Document Number D204298081 Deed Records, Tarrant County
Texas, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows.
BEGINNING at the northwest corner of said TWO SR tract;
THENCE N 89°59'02'E, 1519 16 along the north line of said TWO SR tract to the beginning of a curve to
the right, being in the south right-of way line of proposed Diamondback Lane (a proposed 80 right-of
way)
THENCE the following bearings and distances along the south right-of way line of said proposed
Diamondback Lane
With said curve to the right, through a central angle of 31°07'06" having a radius of 1225 00 feet,
the long chord of which bears S 62°36'32'W 662.68 feet, an arc distance of 671 04 feet;
S 78°18'07"W 209.99 feet to the begmmng of a curve to the left;
With said curve to the left, through a central angle of 07°38'07" having a radius of 1160 00 feet,
the long chord of which bears S 74°29'04'W 154 47 feet, an arc distance of 154.58 feet;
S 70°40'00"W 487 16 feet to the begmmng of a curve to the left;
With said curve to the left, through a central angle of 06°17'41 having a radius of 1160 00 feet,
the long chord of which bears S 67°31 10"W 127.38 feet, an arc distance of 127 44 feet to the
west line of said Hall Nance tract;

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council approve the resolution amending the City's annexation plan to
remove approximately 11 8 acres of land out of the M E.P ~ P R.R. Co Survey Abstract 227 Tarrant
County from the plan
DISCUSSION
On October 29 2002 (M&C PZ 2420R) the City Council adopted the third amendment to the City's
annexation plan to add approximately 7 744 acres referred to as the 287 Zone Under state law the City
Council can annex the 287 Zone for full purposes beginning on October 29 2005 On January 7 2003
(M&C PZ 2483) the City Council annexed the 287 Zone for limited purposes
Lynn Meyer of Carter-Burgess representing Two S R. L.P has requested the voluntary full purpose
annexation of 11 8 acres of land in Tarrant County located north of Avondale Haslet Road and east of
Sendera Ranch Boulevard This property is an extension of the Sendera Ranch development and is known
as Sendera Ranch East. On February 22, 2005 (M&C PZ 2570) the City Council approved the timetable for
the voluntary full purpose annexation of this property
All of the 11 8 acres are currently annexed for limited purposes. The property is part of the 287 Zone that
was added to the City's municipal annexation plan on October 29 2002 and is currently scheduled for full
purpose annexation during the 30-day period beginning October 29 2005 The property's owner Two SR,
L.P has requested that the 11 8 acre parcel be removed from the City annexation plan so that the parcel
may be annexed as an exempt annexation pursuant to the procedure set out in Chapter 43 of the Local
Government Code Subchapter C-1
Also on the City Council Agenda is a Mayor and Council Communication for adoption of the full purpose
annexation of the 11 8 acres of Sendera Ranch East, which will be presented to the City Council after the
City Council considers this proposed plan amendment.
The property is contiguous to COUNCIL DISTRICT 7
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION
The Finance Director certifies that this action will have no material effect on City funds.
