HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 3220-06-2005 1 A Resolution No 3~ao~-o~ -~©~ WHEREAS on August 17 2004 City Council approved M&C G 14459 which adopted a resolution retaining Cantey & Hanger to represent the City of Fort Worth in SH 121T real estate issues, and WHEREAS m M&C G 14459 Crty Council approved an amount of $50 000 to be paid to Cantey & Hanger and WHEREAS, to date, the cost of legal services by Cantey & Hanger to the Crty for such representation has been m the amount of $37,257 71 with a bill for services m the amount of $17,266 00 pending; and WHEREAS the need for representation is still pending and rt is estimated that an additional amount of approximately $100 000 will be needed for the legal services necessary to bang this to a successful conclusion, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS That the compensation authorized to be paid to Cantey & Hanger for legal services m the representation regarding SH 121T real estate is hereby increased from $50 000 to an amount not to exceed $150 000 ADOPTED this oZ ~ 5-~ day of ~n ~.
