AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CHANGE IN THE
NAMES OF CERTAIN STREETS 1Z THIN THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH CALLED EASTBROOK, BOYKIN, WORTH,
McKNIGHT, DASHWOOD, WEAVER, VIOLET, HUMBOLDT
AND LULU STREETS TO THE NAMES OF EAST AND
WEST HUMBOLDT STREETS RESPECTIVELY.

WHEREAS it appearing to the Board of Commissionera that
a certain thoroughfare extending from 1001 Forest Park Boule-
vard east to the Frisco Belt Railway line is now being called
Eastbrook Street; that a certain thoroughfare extends ap-
Proximately from the terminus of said Eastbrook Street east
to the Fort Worth $ Rio Grande railroad is now being called
Bpykin Street; a certain thoroughfare extending from 1000
Eighth Avenue west to Thirteenth Avenue is now being
called Worth Street; that a certain thoroughfare extend-
ing from 1000- sixth Avenue west to Seventh Avenue is now
being called McKnight Street; that a certain thoroughfare
extending from 1000 Hemphill Street west to Lipscomb Street
is now being called Dashwood Street; that a certain thor-
oughfare extending from .950 Oak Grove Street west to May
Street is now being called Weaver Street; that a certain
thoroughfare extending from 1001 South Main Street east
to Louisiana Avenue is now being called Violet Street and
that a certain thoroughfare extending from 951 Evans Avenue
east to Loney Street is now being called Humboldt or Lulu
Street; and •
1HEREAS it further appearing to the Board of Com-
missioners that notwithstanding the fact that the afore-
said streets are not connected, each one in reality is
merely a continuance of the others; and

WHEREAS such a situation has brought about con-
siderable confusion and made it difficult for people to
locate residents on said thoroughfares, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOAFX OF C07ZII ZIONEF OF
THE CITY OF FORT FORTH:
SECTION I
That the street now extending from 1001 Forest Park
Boulevard east to the Frisco Belt Railway and commonly known
as Eastbrook Street; that the street now extending from the
east terminus of Eastbrook Street east to the Fort forth
and Rio Grande railroad and commonly known as Boykin Street;
that the street now extending from 1000 Eighth Avenue west
to Thirteenth Avenue and commonly known as forth Street;
that the street now extending from 1000 Sixth Avenue west
" Seventh Avenue and, commonly known as MoKnIght Str"tj
that the street extending from 1000 Hemphill Street west
to Lipscomb Street commonly known as Dashwood Street and
the street now extending from 950 Oak Grove Street west
to May Street commonly known as Weaver Street be and each
and all of said thoroughfares are hereby changed to the name
of West Humboldt Street.
SECTION II
That the street now extending from 1001 South Main
Street east to Louisiana, Avenue and the street` extending
from 951 Evans Avenue east to Loney Street, commonly known
as Humboldt Street, be and each anft7all of` said
thoroughfares are hereby changed to the name cif East Hum-
boldt Street.
SECTION III
This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
from and after the date of its Passage-
