AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT A PORION OF THE
1M. EDWARDS SURVEY SITUATED IN THE EASTERN
PORTION OF FORT T;TOkTH IN TARRANT COUNTY TEXAS

THE REPEAL, OF ALL ORD INAM ES OR PORTIONS OF OR-
DINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
WREREAS, it appearing to the City Odunc i 1 of t h e
City of Fort Worth, that that portion of the Wm. Edwards
Survey, situated in the eastern portion of Fort Porth, in
Tarrant County, Texas, has been closed for more than twenty-
five years and has never been used as a street or public
thoroughfare. That it is to the best interest of the pub-
lic that said portion of said street be closed, abandcned
and vacated as a public thoroughfare.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY C OONC IL OF THE CITY
OF F CRT W CR TH:
SECT ION I.
That, that portion of the Wm. Edwards Survey, situated
in the eastern portion of Fort North, in Tarrant County,
Texas, being more partiax.larly described as follows:
Beginning at a corner of the tract conveyed to W. N.
Moore by deed of record in Vol. 936, page 23, Tarrant
County deed records, said corner being in the north
edge of the Old Ederville road 524 varas from the
northeast corner of the J. L. Purvis curvy. Thence
west 79-6/10 feet to the southwest side o fysaid road.
Thence along the southerly side of said road, north
53 west 67 feet ; and west 138-8/9 'e et • and south
53 west 67 feet. Theme west 79-6 10 eet to another
corner of the said Moore Tract. Thence along the
southerly lines of the sai d Moore Tract north 53 east
60 varas- and east 5U varas; and south �3 east 60 varas
to the place of beginning.
be and the same is hereby vacated, closed and permanently
abandoned as a street or public thoroughfare of any kind or
character.
SBUTION II.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict
on-
flict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.
