HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 3244-08-2005~~ A Resolution NO ~ ~~/ _Ok ~QS WHEREAS, Tarrant County is proposing a $200 million Transportation Bond Program in May 2006 and WHEREAS, Tarrant County has requested local municipalities to submit transportation projects for consideration for funding as part of the proposed May 2006 Tarrant County Bond Program, and WHEREAS, Tarrant County will consider projects from local municipalities for funding on a 50 percent matching basis with the local municipality and WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth has the funds from the City s 2004 Bond Program and other sources to participate on a 50 percent matching basis with Tarrant County on the purposed projects NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS Requests Tarrant County to consider the following transportation projects for funding of 50 percent of the total cost or 50 percent of the local cost when other sources are available through the Tarrant County Bond Program. • Golden Triangle (IH 35W to US 377) • East Rosedale (IH35W to US287) • East Rosedale (US 287 to IH820) • Precinct Line Road (Trinity Boulevard to SH 10) • FM 156 Relocation (Downtown Haslet to 03 miles south of SH 114) • East 1St Street (Beach Street to Oakland Avenue) • Hulen Street at IH 20 (intersection improvements) • Camp Bowie Boulevard (Arch Adams to Las Vegas Trail) -construct 10 traffic signals • East Lancaster (Pine Street to Handley Drive) -construct 12 traffic signals ~; • Miller Avenue (East Rosedale to Eastland Road) -construct four traffic signals • Heritage Trace Parkway (Harmon Road to Beach Street) -construct six traffic ~'' signals • Summer Creek Drive (Primrose Crossing Area) -construct six traffic signals • SH 183 (HWY 199 to Industrial Street) -construct nine traffic signals Adopted this l~ day of v5 ~ _ 2005 ATTEST ~``` ~~~f -~ ~ ~. . .~ t ~- ^ Marty Hendrix; City~Sacretary t 1 c+a~ APPROVED CITY COUNCIL ~;u G 1 6 2005 ~ ~~~~ City Secretary of the City of Fort Worth, Qexas •~ ~. qr
