AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE MOVEMENT OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
UPON CERTAIN STREETS AND PARTS OF STREETS IN THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL ORDI-
NANCES IN CONFLICT HEREEr7ITH; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE
VIOLATION HEREOF AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT NORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
It shall be unlawful for the driver of any vehicle to drive upon the
following streets and parts of streets except in the direction indicated:
FIRST STREET: From its intersection with Lamar Street
to its intersection with Jones Street,
traffic to move in an easterly direction.
SECOND STREET: From its intersection with Jones Street
to its intersection with Lamar Street,
traffic to move in a westerly direction.
THIRD STREET: From its intersection with Lamar Street
to its intersection with Commerce Street,
traffic to move in an easterly direction.
FOURTH STREET: From its intersection with Jones Street
to its intersection with West Fifth
Street, traffic to move in a westerly
direction.
FIFTH STREET: From its intersection with Macon Street
to its intersection with Jones Street,
traffic to move in an easterly direction.
SIXTH STREET:- From its intersection with Jones Street
to its intersection with West Seventh
Street, traffic to move in a westerly
direction.
SEVENTH STREET: From its intersection with Cherry Street
to its intersection with Jones Street,
traffic to move in an easterly direction.
EIGHTH STREET: From its intersection with Grove Street
to its intersection with Throckmorton
Street, traffic to move in a westerly
direction.
NINTH STREET: From its intersection with Throckmorton
Street to its intersection with Grove
Street, traffic to move in an easterly
direction.
TENTH STREET: From its intersection with Penn Street
to its intersection with Commerce Street,
traffic to move in a westerly direction.
ELEVENTH STREET: From its intersection with Jennings Avenue
to its intersection with Throckmorton
Street, traffic to move in an easterly
direction.

JONES STREET: From its intersection with Lancaster
Street to its intersection with Bluff
Street, traffic to move in a northerly
direction.
TEXAS STREET: From its intersection with Penn Street
to its intersection with Jennings Avenue,
traffic to move in an easterly direction.
CALHOUN STREET: From its intersection with Bluff Street
to its intersection with Lancaster
Street, traffic to move in a southerly
direction:
TAYLOR STREET: From its intersection with Lancaster
Street to its intersection with Belknap
Street, traffic to move in a northerly
direction.
LAMAR STREET: From its intersection with ,Belknap Street
to its intersection with Lancaster Street,
traffic to move in a southerly direction.
COMMERCE STREET: From its intersection with Lancaster
Street to its intersection with Weather-
ford Street, traffic to move in a northerly
direction.
HOUSTON STREET: From its intersection with Belknap Street
to its intersection with Lancaster Street,
traffic to move in a southerly direction.
MONROE STREET: From its intersection with Throckmorton
Street to its intersection with Tenth
Street, traffic to move in a southerly
direction.
CHERRY STREET: From its intersection with 13th Street
to its intersection with West Seventh
Street, traffic to move in a northerly
direction.
MACON STREET: From its intersection with 13th Street
to its intersection with West Fifth
Street, traffic to move in a south bound
direction.
THROCKMORTON STREET: From its intersection with Eleventh Street
to its intersection with Tenth Street,
traffic to move in a northerly direction.
JENNINGS AVENUE: From its intersection with Tenth Street
to its intersection with Eleventh Street,
traffic to move in a southerly direction.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be and is hereby declared to be cumulative of all
other ordinances of the City of Fort Worth affecting traffic on its streets
and shall not operate to repeal or affect any such ordinance or ordinances
except insofar as the provisions of such ordinance or ordinances are inconsis-
tent or in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance, in which instance
or instances those provisions shall be and they are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3.
Any person violating the terms of this ordinance shall, upon conviction
thereof, be fined in any sum not to exceed One Hundred Dollars ($100.00).
SECTION 4.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from
and after the date of its passage and publication as required by law.
