ADOPTING THE TENTH AMENDMENT
TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH'S ANNEXATION PLAN
WHEREAS, on December 14 1999 the City Council approved Resolution No 2598 adopting
an annexation plan for the City of Fort Worth un accordance with Section 43 052 of the Local
Government Code;
WHEREAS, on October 29 2002, the City Council approved Resolution No 2884 adopting the
third amendment to the Crty's annexation plan identifying approximately 7 744 acres referred to as the
287 Zone;
WHEREAS, the City Council approved Ordinance No 15389 annexing the 287 Zone for
limited purposes on January 7 2003
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 43 052(8) of the Local Government Code, the City may annex
the 287 Zone for full purposes during the 30-day period beguming October 29 2005
WHEREAS, Roger Vann and The Todd Group, owners of 326.56 acres of land in the James
Rightly Survey Abstract No 1268 and the Henry Robertson Survey Abstract No 1259 west of US
Hwy 287 and south of Blue Mound Road has petitioned for full purpose annexation of the property by
the City of Fort Worth.
WHEREAS, the 326 56 -acre parcel owned by Vann Cattle and the Todd Group ~s in Area `B"
of the 287 Zone included in the third amendment to th.e City's annexation plan.
WHEREAS, the City Council is scheduled to adopt a tunetable for the proposed voluntary
annexation of the 326 56 acres on Oct 18, 2005 providing for institution and consideration of approval
of the annexation on December 6, 2005 in accordance with Chapter 43 Subchapter C 1 of the Texas
Local Government Code;

WHEREAS The Todd Group and Roger Vann have requested that the City remove the 326 56-
acre parcel from the City's annexation plan so that the area can be annexed on December 6, 2005 or as
soon thereafter as practicable as an exempt annexation pursuant to the procedures set out in Chapter 43
of the Local Government Code, Subchapter C 1
WHEREAS Section 43 052(e) provides that a mumcipahty may amend rts annexation plan at
any tune to remove an area proposed for annexation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH.

That the Crty's annexation plan is hereby amended to remove approxunately 326 56 acres out of
the James Rightly Survey Abstract No 1268 and the Henry Robertson Survey Abstract No 1259
Tarrant County Texas, as shown on Exhibit A and described ul Exhibit `B at the request of the
property owners, Roger Vann and the Todd Group, in order to facilitate the voluntary annexation of such
property ``11
