HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 23 k RESOLUTION FILE NO. r o l R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, the electorate of the City of Fort Worth on October 19, iw 1965, overwhelmingly approved a $74.75 million bond proposal needed for providing the citizens of Fort Worth with adequate municipal ser- P vices and continued growth and prosperity; and WHEREAS, Mr. Paul Mason and the Town Hall Committee on Municipal Facilities made an extensive study of the Capital Improvement Programs and bond proposal;and WHEREAS, Mrs. Edgar Deen, Messrs. Bayard H Friedman, Charles 4w�r_ Campau, Paul Mason, and Dr. Law Sone, as General Co-Chairmen of the Bond Election Campaign, worked tirelessly in the interest of the.1ond prd�- r K poral and the enlistment of people in the promotion of the bond election` campaign; and WHEREAS, Mr. Lee Goodman performed ftervIces of inestimable value G7i�C�at� -ten �O»tc��t�st in many m" the bond election; an WHEREAS, various committee chairmen, co-chairmen, members, individuals, and organizations too numerous to mention by name gave of their time to inform the public of the various aspects of the bond pro. gram; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY (D UNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, that Mr. Paul Mason, his committee chairmen and members, the general co- chairmen, Mr. Lee Goodman, and all other organizations and individuals who participated in the promotion of the bond campaign be commended for their efforts in bringing the campaign to a successful conclusion. t a
