ADOPTING THE FIFTEENTH AMENDMENT
TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH'S ANNEXATION PLAN
WHEREAS, on December 14 1999 the City Council approved Resolution No 2598 adopting
an annexation plan for the City of Fort Worth in accordance with Section 43 052 of the Local
Government Code;
WHEREAS, on October 29 2002, the City Council approved Resolution No. 2884 adopting the
third amendment to the City's annexation plan identifying approximately 7 744 acres referred to as the
287 Zone;
WHEREAS, the City Council approved Ordinance No 15389 annexing the 287 Zone for
limited purposes on January 7 2003
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 43 052(g) of the Local Government Code, the Crty may annex
the 287 Zone for full purposes dunng the 30-day penod begmmng October 29 2005
WHEREAS, property owners in the Willow Spnngs Ranch subdivision, Tarrant County south
of Avondale Haslet Road and west of Willow Spnngs Road have petitioned the Crty of Fort Worth for
removal from the annexation plan.
WHEREAS, the 51.3 -acre portion of Willow Spnngs Ranch is in Area `B" of the 287 Zone
included in the third amendment to the City's annexation plan.
WHEREAS, Section 43 052(e) provides that a mumcipahty may amend its annexation plan at
any time to remove an area proposed for annexation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH.
That the City's annexation plan is hereby amended to remove approximately 51.3 acres out of
Willow Spnngs Ranch an addition to Tarrant County Texas, according to plat recorded m Cabinet A,
Slide 8425 of the Plat Records, Tarrant County Texas, being all of Lots 1 through 8, Block 1 and all of
Block 2, and all of Lots 15 through 24 Block 3 all of Willow Tree Dnve, all of Willow Tree Court, all
of Willow Ranch Way and all of Western Willows Dnve, east of the west line of said Lot 24 according
to said plat, as shown on Exhibit A and described in Exhibit `B"
This resolution is adopted and effective this ~ ~~ day of October 2005

A parcel of land being a portion of Willow Springs Ranch an addition to Tarrant
County Texas according to plat recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 8425 of the Plat
Records Tarrant County Texas being all of Lots 1 through 8 Block 1 and all of
Block 2 and all of Lots 15 through 24 Block 3 all of Willow Tree Drive all of
Willow Tree Court, all of Willow Ranch Way and all of Western Willows Drive
east of the west line of said Lot 24 according to said plat, and being more
particularly described by metes and bounds as follows
BEGINNING at the northeast corner of said Block 2 also being the intersection
of the south right-of-way of Avondale Haslet Road and the west right-of-way of
Willow Springs Road
THENCE with said west right-of-way South 00 degrees 06 minutes 47 seconds
West, 1051 73 feet, to the southeast corner of said Lot 15
THENCE the following courses and distances with the south lines of said Lots
15 through 24
South 81 degrees 56 minutes 16 seconds West, 101 76 feet;
South 67 degrees 09 minutes 33 seconds West, 141 94 feet;
South 61 degrees 55 minutes 10 seconds West, 363 99 feet;

and South 78 degrees 09 minutes 55 seconds West, 444 75 feet,
to the southwest corner of said Lot 24
THENCE the following courses and distances with the west lines of said Lot 24

North 25 degrees 59 minutes 50 seconds West, 126 42 feet;
and NORTH at 98 00 feet, pass the south right-of-way of said Western
Willows Drive in all 148 00 feet, to the north right-of-way of said Western
