HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 3298-12-2005Resolution No a,3 9~-1a-~~.s ADOPTING THE EIGHTEENTH AMENDMENT TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH'S ANNEXATION PLAN WHEREAS on December 14; 1999 the City Council approved Resolution No 2598 adopting an annexation plan for the City of Fort Worth m accordance with Section 43 052 of the Local Government Code, WHEREAS, Section 43 052(c) provides that a municipality may amend its annexation plan to identify annexations that may occur beginning on the third anniversary of the date the plan is amended, WHEREAS the City Council approved M&C G 14691 on February 22, 2005 adopting the 2005 Comprehensive Plan and Annexation Program, WHEREAS the area~specifically described on the map attached as Exhibit A and by the legal descnption attached as Exhibit `B" was identified m the Annexation Program for potential full purpose annexation m 2008 WHEREAS, the area described m Exhibit A and Exhibit B is not su6~ect to any of the annexation plan exemptions set out m Section 43 052(h) of the Texas Local Government Code• WHEREAS aPre-Council Beefing was held on the Fiscal Impact of this proposed annexation on October 11 2005 WHEREAS property owners m the area have been notified of the potential full purpose annexation of this,property and a public information meeting was held for property owners m the area at Central High School, Keller ISD on October 24 2005 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH That the City's annexation plan, approved on December 14 1999 by the adoption of Resolution No 2598 is hereby amended to include approximately 178 acres out of the Jesse Billingsley Survey Abstract Number 70 and S Needham Survey Abstract Number 1171 Tarrant County Texas, as shown on Exhibit A and described in Exhibit `B" Further that the area so described may be annexed for full purposes beginning on the third anniversary of the date of this plan amendment. ~~~ Exhibit A • Annexation of 178 Acres Council District -2 Foe_~~ Project Case # AX-05-024 Map Legend Map References Proposed Process Schedule Fort Worth ETJ Annexation Pro ram 8-3 Acres to be added to Annexation Ian Mapsco 22L &M 23J Annexation Plan amended 12/13/05 Current Incorporated Area 330.57 TAD Map 2072-460 2066-460 Institution of Annexation December 2008 Page 1 of 1 Exhibit B PH Land Surveying,_ Inc. 0 1858 East Keller Parkway Suite D Keller Texas 76248 Tel (817)431-4971 Fax.
