rrn f
CERTAIN PROPERTIES LOCATED IN THE MARINE CREEK RANCH
NEIGHBORHOOD IN COUNCIL DISTRICT 2
The May 9th City Council agenda will contain an M&C to initiate the rezoning process for
approximately 151 .3 acres, encompassing 461 parcels, of the Marine Creek Ranch
neighborhood in the Far Northwest sector of Fort Worth. Councilmember Espino has
requested the proposed zoning changes to rezone residential property and vacant land to a
zoning classification that is consistent with the existing land uses and Comprehensive Plan.
For your reference, the attached PowerPoint presentation shows the future land use
designations in the Comprehensive Plan, the current zoning, and the proposed zoning.
A meeting has been scheduled for the affected property owners on May 1 , 2017, in the Ed
Wilke Middle School cafeteria, located at 6100 Texas Shiner Road, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
One owner of vacant land has expressed opposition to date. Public hearings for the
rezoning of these properties would be held by the Zoning Commission on June 14 and by
the City Council on June 20.
If you have any questions, please contact Dana Burghdoff, Assistant Planning and
Development Director, at 817-392-8018.
