Home My WebLink AboutResolution 3095A Resolution NO(~ APPOINTING THE CHAIRPERSON AND CERTAIN MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF TAX INCREivTiENT REINVESTMENT ZONE NUMBER TEN, CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS (LONESTAR TIF) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fort Worth (the City Council') previously adopted Ordinance No 16002 creating Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Number Ten, City of Fort Worth, Texas (the `Reinvestment Zone') and WHEREAS, the Reinvestment Zone is overseen by an eleven (11) member Board of Directors (the `Board') appointed as follows one (1) by the Northwest Independent School District, one (1) by Tarrant County one (1) by the Tarrant County Hospital District one (1) by the Tarrant County College District, one (1) by the Tarrant Regional Water District, and six (6) by the City Council and WHEREAS, Section 311 009(c) of the Texas Tax Code provides that Board member terms shall be for two (2) calendar years unless otherwise staggered and WHEREAS, Section 311 009(f) provides that the City Council must appoint one member o~ the Board to serve as the Board s chairperson for a term of one (1) year beginning January I of the year ~1~ `',~. • :..
