ADOPTING THE SEVENTH AMENDMENT
TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH'S ANNEXATION PLAN
WHEREAS, on December 14 1999 the City Council approved Resolution No 2598 adopting
an annexation plan for the City of Fort Worth m accordance with Section 43 052 of the Local
Government Code;
WHEREAS, on October 29 2002, the City Council approved Resolution No 2884 adopting the
third amendment to the City's annexation plan identifying approximately 7 744 acres referred to as the
287 Zone;
WHEREAS the City Council approved Ordinance No 15389 annexing the 287 Zone for
hmrted purposes on January 7 2003
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 43 052(g) of the Local Government Code, the City may annex
the 287 Zone for full purposes during the 30-day period beginning October 29 2005
WHEREAS, PBK Joint Venture, owner of 67.237 acres of land m the Josiah Walker Survey
located west of Harmon Road between Highway 287 and Heritage Trace Parkway has petitioned for full
purpose annexation of such property by the City of Fort Worth for the extension of the Quail Grove
. Addition, Phase 1
WHEREAS, the 67.237-acre parcel owned by PBK Joint Venture is in Area `C" of the 287
Zone included m the third amendment to the City's annexation plan,

WHEREAS, the City Council established a timetable for the proposed voluntary annexation of
the 67.237 acres on May 11 2004 (Mayor and Council Communication PZ 2528), providing for
institution and consideration of approval of the annexation on June 29 2004 m accordance with Chapter
43 Subchapter C 1 of the Texas Local Government Code;
WHEREAS, PBK Joint Venture has requested that the City remove the 67.237-acre parcel from
the City's annexation plan so that the area can be annexed on June 29 2004 or as soon thereafter as
practicable as an exempt annexation pursuant to the procedures set out in Chapter 43 of the Local
Government Code, Subchapter C 1
WHEREAS Section 43 052(e) provides that a mumcipalrty may amend its annexation plan at
any time to remove an area proposed for annexation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH.

That the City's annexation plan is hereby amended to remove approximately 67.237 acres out of
the Josiah Walker Survey Abstract No 1600 Tarrant County Texas, as shown on Exhibit A and
described in Exhibit `B" at the request of the property owner PBK Joint Venture, in order to facilitate
the voluntary annexation of such property
This resolution is adopted and effective this ~~~- day of June, 2004

Being approximately 67.237 acre tract of land situated in the Josiah Walker Survey
Abstract No 1600 Tarrant County Texas and being a portion of that certain tract of
land described in the deed to PBK Joint Venture recorded in Volume 8283 Page 1013
Deed Records Tarrant County Texas (DRTCT) and being more particularly described
as follows
BEGINNING at a point in Harmon Road a variable width public right of way at the
southeast corner of said PBK Joint Venture tract from which a pk nail found bears
South 15°34 59" West, a distance of 1 12 feet;
THENCE N88°36'30"W along a south line of said PBK Joint Venture tract, a distance
of 1491 59 feet to a'/2 inch iron rod found at an angle point on a south line of said PBK
Joint Venture tract;
THENCE N37°15'33'W a distance of 1828 61 feet to a 5/8 inch iron rod found for the
northwest corner of said PBK Joint Venture tract;
THENCE S88 43'23'E along the north line of said PBK Joint Venture tract, a distance
;~ of 2600 59 feet to a point in Harmon Road at the northeast corner of said PBK Joint
Venture tract from which a 60d nail found bears N75 43 51 'E a distance of 0 62 feet;
THENCE S00°04'07"W generally along the center of Harmon Road a distance of
1433 68 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 2 928 849 square feet or
67.237 acres of land
