"WHEREAS, the Cities of Fort Worth, Dallas, and the Dallas/Fort Worth
Regional Airport Board, as Co-sponsors, entered into a Grant Agreement with
the United States of America, acting through the Federal Aviation Adminis-
tration, for Project No. 8-48-0064-01 for the development of the Dallas/Fort
Worth Regional Airport; and
"WHEREAS, Amendment No. 1 to the said Grant would provide for better
utilization of the Grant amount: NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH:
SECTION 1. That the City of Fort Worth as co-sponsor with the City
of Dallas and the Dallas/Fort Worth Regional Airport Board, shall enter
into Grant Amendment No. 1 for FAA Project No. 8-48-0064-01, which amend-
ment adds work pertaining to the construction of the Phase III Boundary
and Airfield Fencing to the description of Airport Development contained in
said Grant.
SECTION 2. That the said Grant Amendment No. 1 for Project No.
8-48-0064-01 attached hereto, be, and is hereby incorporated by reference
herein for all purposes.
SECTION 3. That the Mayor of the City of Fort Worth be and is hereby
authorized and directed to execute said Grant Amendment No. 1 for and on
behalf of the City of Fort Worth and the City Secretary be and is hereby
authorized and directed to attest said execution and impress the official
seal of the City of Fort Worth thereupon,
SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its passage."
