WORTH, TEX. RESUME OF THE PROJECT On September 30, 1963, the Public Works Department conducted a neighborhood hearing at the Circle Park Elementary School on the assessment paving of N. W. 21st Street, Project Number 094-22000-102. The overall assessment paving program was outlined, giving the type of pavement, methods used for computing assessments and awarding credits. RESULTS Three property owners appeared at the meeting and several others have contacted the Public Works Department personally. All owners were informed that they would be assessed only for curb and gutter where none existed. No assessment is to be levied for reconstruction of the existing pavement. All of the owners were opposed to paying for curb and gutter. It was their opinion that they had not had curb and gutter in the past and did not need it at this time.
