OF THIS ORDINANCE WITH THE COUNTY CLERK OF TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS; DECLAR-
ING THAT THIS ORDINANCE AND ALL SUBSEQUENT PROCEEDINGS RELATING TO SAID
STREET IMPROVEMENT ARE AND SHALL BE PURSUANT TO THE ACT OF THE FIRST CALLED
SESSION OF THE FORTIETH LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS, CHAPTER 106;
COMMONLY KNOWN AS ARTICLE 1105b OF VERNON'S TEXAS CIVIL STATUTES AS AMENDED
BY ACTS 1967, 60TH LEGISLATURE, PAGE 365, CHAPTER 176, SECTION l, EMERGENCY
EFFECTIVE MAY 12, 1967; AND DIRECTING THE CITY SECRETARY TO ENGRdSS AND EN-
ROLL THIS ORDINANCE BY COPYING THE CAPTION OF SAME IN THE MINUTE BOOKS OF
THE CITY COUNCIL AND BY FILING THE COMPLETE ORDINANCE IN THE APPROPRIATE
ORDINANCE RECORDS OF THIS CTTY AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director for the City of Fort Worth, Texas, has prepared
Plans and Specifications for the improvements of the hereinafter described portions
of streets, avenues and public places in the City of Fort Worth, Texas, and same
having been examined by the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, and found
to be in all matters and rhings proper, NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITS� COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, THAT:

Pa.v�ng in this project is under the City's Assessment Paving Program in the
1973-75 Capital Improvement Program (Page A-113).
Initiation of Project
IJnits 1, 3 and 4 were initiated by paving petitions from adjacent property
ownerse Unit 2 was initiated by Community Facilities Contract No. 7424
(M&C C-2482, 3/26/73). Unit 5 was initiated by a poll-card-survey and
approved by the City Council (M&C G-2458, 7/8/74).
Impxovements
Unirs 1, 4 and 5 will be improved by construction of residential grade hot-mix
�.sphaltic concrete pavement with concrete curb and gutter, whereas Units 2 and
3 will be improved with commercial and/o� collector grade hot-mix asphaltic
con�rete pavement with concrete curb and gutter. All Units will be complete
with required concrete driveway approaches and necessary storm drain pipe
and appurtenances.

Project Cost and Financing
Based on the low bid, approximately $56,375.86 will be assessed against
abutting properties under standard policy, to be provided for by a Bond
Fund Transfer from the Revolving Fund Unspecified Account. Total con-
struction, design engineering, inspection engineering, administration and
miscellaneous costs to the City is approximately $112,006.76, which will
require a Bond Fund transfer of $109,000.00 from the 104-24000-901 Un-
specified Assessment Paving Account to supplement the original $3,000.00
in Project Account No. 104-24000-242.
