RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT THE
CITY HALL IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, ON JUNE -W,7'1974, AT 9:30 A, M<
FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING PROPOSED CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS TO ORDINANCE NO, 3011,
WHICH IS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY, AND PROVIDING THAT SAID HEARING MAY CON-
TINUE FROM DAY TO DAY UNTIL EVERY INTERESTED PARTY AND CITIZEN HAS HAD A FULL OPPOR-
TUNITY TO BE HEARD.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS.

That at 9:30 o'clock A. M., the TrtIQ. day of June, 1974, the City
Council of the City of Fort Worth, which is the legislative body of said City, will
hold a public hearing in the Council Chamber at the City Hall for the purpose of con-
sidering changes and amendments to Ordinance No. 3011, the Comprehensive Zoning Plan
Ordinance of said City. The purpose of said hearing is to determine whether or not
said Ordinance should be amended so that the zoning classification of the following
areas shall be changed as hereinaftei specified,

Electric Power Substations
SECTION 1.
That Subsection A of Section 2-C of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance No.
3011, as amended, be, and the same is hereby amended so that hereafter same
shall be and read as follows:
"A. Use Regulations:
"In the 'MH' District, no building or land shall be used,
except as permitted in Ordinance No. 6293 and except that
electric power substations shall be permitted as a special
exception use, subject to the approval of the Board of
Adjustment pursuant to the provisions of Section 20."
SECTION 2.
That Paragraph 20 of Subsection A of Section 2-D of the Comprehensive Zoning
Ordinance No. 3011, as amended, be, and the same is hereby amended by the
addition thereto-of the following subparagraph:
"f) Electric power substation."
SECTION 3.
That.Paragraphs 45 and 46 of Subsection A of Section 13 of the Comprehensive
Zoning Ordinance No. 3011 , as amended, be, and the same are hereby amended so�
that hereafter same shall be and read as follows: J
"45. Electric power substations.
"46. Any similar uses not included in District 'J' and 'K' which
are not noxious or offensive because of odors, smoke, dust,
noise, fumes, or vibrations.";
and that such Subsection A of Section 13 of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
No. 3011, as amended, be, and the same is hereby further amended by the addition
thereto of the following paragraph:
"47. Accessory buildings and uses customarily incidental to the above."
SECTION 4.
That Subsection C of Section 20 of the 'Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance No. 3011,
as amended, be, and the same is hereby amended by the addition thereto of the
following paragraph:
"37. Electric power substations.
All except 'AG' , '0-1 ' , 10-21 , 'I' , 'J' , 'K"

tract of land in the John Flint Survey, Abstract No. 1889, and being the
same property conveyed in two tracts to Zimair Welded Wire Products, Inc. ,

That the proposed amendments and changes and this hearing will be held inaccor ance
with the provisions of Article 1011A--1011K of the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution when signed by the Mayor and publised in
the official newspaper of the City of Fort Worth, which is a paper of general circula-
tion, one (1) time, shall constitute a notice of hearing, which publication shall be
made at least fifteen (15) days prior to such hearing, and all interested parties are
urgently requested to be in the Council Chamber at the City Hall at the time herein-
above set forth to make any protest or suggestion that may occur to them, and this
hearing may continue from day to day until every interested party and citizen has had
a full opportunity to be heard.
