HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract 32915 Ci T Y v1.CRETARY CONTRACT N0. � L AMENDMENT TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 29324 WHEREAS, on November 26, 2003„the City of Fort Worth ("City") and MAXIMUS, Inc. ("Consultant") made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 29324 ("Agreement"); WHEREAS, under the Agreement Consultant is to provide professional consulting services to City to assist City in developing an appropriate cost allocation plan concerning City programs operated with outside funding which are also supported by services paid from the City's General Fund and paid for by outside users; WHEREAS, the Agreement was entered into by both parties with the intent that the initial term would be for three years with three optional one-year renewal periods; WHEREAS,the Agreement did not set forth the option to have three one-year renewal periods; and WHEREAS, it is the mutual desire of City and Consultant to amend the Agreement to provide for the three optional one-year renewal periods. NOW, THEREFORE, City, whose address is 1000 Throckmorton St., Fort Worth Texas 76102, acting by and through Richard Zavala, its duly authorized Acting Assistant City Manager, and Consultant, whose address is 13601 Preston Road, Suite 201E, Dallas, Texas 75420, acting by and through Mark S. Epstein, its duly authorized Division President, do hereby agree as follows: I. 5. Term of Contract This section is amended to be and read as follows: "The services to be performed hereunder by Consultant shall be undertaken and completed in such sequence as to assure their expeditious completion and to best carry out the purposes of this agreement. The initial term of this agreement shall be from date of final execution through December 31, 2005, with three additional options to renew for terms of one year each, unless earlier terminated as hereinafter provided. Renewal shall occur upon the agreement of both parties, documented in writing and signed by both parties, that the option to renew shall be exercised." All other terms and conditions of City Secretary Contract No. 29324 not amended herein remain unaffected and in full force and effect, are binding upon the parties, and are hereby ratified by the parties.
