Home My WebLink AboutResolution 2803... ~j -r: WHEREAS all abutting property owners have requested by written and signed petition that the City physically close at such property owners expense Bird Street, at the southwest corner Lot 1 Block 4 and the northwest corner Lot 1 Block. 2 Courthouse 4'iew Addition and closing six miscellaneous north-south alleys in the Akers Park Addition WHEREAS the Plan Commission of the City of Fort Worth has reviewed this request and recommends that the subject portion of the street and alleys be closed as requested NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH TEXAS That Bird Street, at the southwest corner Lot 1 Block 4 and the northwest corner Lot 1 Block 2 Courthouse View Addition be physically closed with locked gates at the abutting property owners expense and that six miscellaneous north-south alleys identified as items A thru `F" on the attached Exhibit A and further legally described as items A thru `G" on the attached Exhibit `B be closed with the City to retain title to the public right-of--way in said street and alleys retaining any and all easements for existing and prospective utilities and retaining the right of access at all times for the purpose of maintaining existing and prospective utility facilities located in the aforesaid portion of said alleys In addition the City reserves the right, at the sole discretion of the City Council to reopen by resolution the aforesaid street and alleys right-of-way to public travel at any time by directing the removal of the aforesaid locked gates all costs and expense of said removal to be borne by the aforesaid abutting property owners `~ ~ PASSED this day of ~ , 200_ ~~~C~~E~ QTY ~~~~~~~ ~~~ ~ 201?
