AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING
A PORTION OF THE NORTH RIGHT-OF-WAY OF WHITE
SETTLEMENT ROAD IN THE 4400 BLOCK ABUTTING
TRACTS 4, 4A and 4B, J. WATSON SURVEY, APPROX-
IMATELY 23.5' IN WIDTH AND 262 ' IN LENGTH;
PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID
LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERE-
WITH AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE-
COME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS :
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described portion of the north
right-of-way of White Settlement Road in the 4400 Block
abutting Tracts 4, 4A and 4B, J. Watson Survey, approximately
23.5' in width and 262 ' in length, be and the same is hereby
vacated, abandoned and permanently closed as a right-of-way
for street purposes, said abandoned right-of-way being more

particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the east right-of-way
line of Isbell Road, said point bears South no
degrees 16 minutes East 120.33 feet from the
southwest corner of Lot 1, Block 1, Brookside
Annex, according to plat recorded in Volume
388-A, Page 86, Plat Records, Tarrant County,
Texas, said point also being in the existing
northerly right-of-way line of White Settlement
Road;
THENCE: North 59 degrees 19 minutes 37 seconds
East with said northerly right-of-way line
119.42 feet to the beginning of a curve to the
right, the center of which bears South 30 degrees
40 minutes 23 seconds East a radius distance of
878.51 feet;
THENCE: Northeasterly with said curve to right
And said right-of-way line an arc distance of
-143. 14 feet to a point in the proposed westerly
line of Brookside Connection;
THENCE: South 20 degrees 22 minutes East 21.8
feet to a point on a curve, the center of said
curve bears South 22 degrees 12 minutes 10 seconds
East a distance of 858.51 feet;

THENCE: Southwesterly with said curve to the
left an arc distance of 138.28 feet to a point
of tangency;
THENCE: South 58 degrees 34 minutes 06 seconds
West 106.65 feet to a point; said point being a
perpendicular distance of 10 feet from the pro-
posed northerly face of curb of White Settlement
Road, according to Paving Plans File No. K-607
on file at the Public Works Department, City of
Fort Worth;
THENCE: North 58 degrees 56 minutes 29 seconds
West 28.63 feet to the place of beginning and
containing 5, 982.71 square feet of land, more or
less.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described street
right-of-way is hereby released and will revert to the adjacent
owners as provided by law, SAVE AND EXCEPT that easements are
reserved therein for any and all existing utilities.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage and
it is so ordained.
