IC HEARING TO BE
HELD Iht THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT THE MUNICIPAL
BUILDING 1N THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS JANUARY 8,
2002 AT 7.00 P.M., FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING THE
PROPOSED CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS TO ORDINANCE NO
13896 AS AMENDED WHICH IS THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE SAID CITY AND PROVIDING THAT SAID
HEARING MAY CONTINUE FROM DAY TO DAY UNTIL EVERY
INTERESTED PARTY AND CITIZEN HAS HAD A FULL
OPPORTUNITY TO BE HEARD
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS
That at 7 00 o clock P.M. Tuesday January 8 2002, the City Council of the City of Fort
Worth, which is the legislative body of the said City will hold a public heanng m the
City Council Chambers at the Municipal Building for the purpose of considering changes
and amendments to Ordinance No 13896 as amended, the Comprehensive Zoning
Ordinance of said city The purpose of said hearing is to determine whether or not said
Ordinance No 13896 as amended, should be amended so that the zoning classification of
the following areas shall be changed as hereinafter described.
SP-O1 1019 Situated m Tarrant County Texas, and being a tract of land out of the
David Strickland Survey Abstract 1376 and being a portion of a tract of
land conveyed to Maymie S Meyer by deed recorded m Volume 1344
Page 55 Deed Records, Tarrant County Texas, and being more
particularly described as follows,
BEGINNING at a 5/8 inch iron found for the Northeast corner of this tract
and the Northwest corner of a tract of land conveyed to the Texas Society
For Better Sports by deed recorded in Volume 10480 Page 2151 Deed
Records, Tarrant County Texas, said corner also being m the South Right
of Way line of David Strickland Road.
THENCE S00°18 00"W along said common line a distance of 41951 feet
(Deed 420 feet) to a '/2 inch iron rod found for the Southeast corner of this
tract and the most Easterly Northeast corner of Lot 1 Block 1 of the
Maple Terrace Mobile Homes Park as recorded m Volume 388-47 Page
614 De~d..Records, Tarrant, County Texas
THENCE S89°45 35"Walong the South line of this tract a distance of
105 04 feet to a 5/8 inch iron rod found for the Southwest corner of this

THENCE N00°16 38"E along the most Westerly East line of said Lot 1 a
distance of 420 45 feet (Deed 420 feet) to a 1.2 inch iron rod found for the
Northwest corner of this tract said rod also being m the South Right of
Way hne of David Strickland Road.
THENCE S89°43 53 'E along said Right of Way line a distance of 105.20
feet (Deed 105 0 feet) to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 1 Ol
acres of land, more or less.

That the proposed amendments and changes at this hearing will be considered m
accordance with the provisions of Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution, when published m the official
newspaper of the Crty of Fort Worth, which is a paper of general circulation, one (1)
time, shall constitute a notice of hearing, which publication shall be made at least fifteen
(15) days prior to such hearing, and all interested parties are urgently requested to be m
the City Council Chambers at the Municipal Building at the time heremabove set forth to
make any protest or suggestion that may occur to them, and this hearing may continue
from day to day until every interested party and citizen has had a full opportunity to be
heard.
