HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2639A Resolution NO o~63% EXPANSION OF THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PLAN ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS WHEREAS, the Capital Improvements Plan Advisory Committee was established by the City Council in 1989 for the purpose of advising the City of the need to update or revise the land use assumptions capital improvements plan and impact fees assisting the City m adopting land use assumptions and reviewing and monitoring the implementation of the City s capital improvements plan and WHEREAS, this 5 member committee was designed to represent the community with one representative from the City s extraterritorial jurisdiction (20%) and a minimum of two members representative of the real estate development or building industries (40%} as prescribed by Chapter 395 of the Texas Local Government Code and WHEREAS, annexation of Tarrant County Municipal Utilities District No 1 has changed the balance of the committee requiring that the committee be expanded in order to maintain appropriate representation NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS That the Capital Improvements Plan Advisory Committee be expanded from five to seven members and That the following individuals be appointed to the Capital Improvements Plan Advisory Committee to fill the two additional spots Mr Steve Seavers - ETJ Representative Ms Lucy Obando -Real Estate Representative day of _~~~_ _-- 2000 ~~~L Kenneth Barr ayor A~'PR01/ED CITY COUNCIL MAY 30 2000 City Secr x f th® ~~~ ~ ~~` '!~!~~ Citq of Fars ~Tort~,'~exa~ Adopted this ~~ _
