HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2683A Resolution NO 2 6~3 WHEREAS on August 8 2000 the City Council approved M & C G-12982 that adopted a resolution increasing to $300 000 the amount authorized to be paid to Cantey & Hanger to represent the City in Pastusek Industries, Inc., v. City of Fort Worth, Sunbelt Industrial Development Corporation, Tarrant Appraisal District, June Garrison, Tax Accessor-Collector for Tarrant County, and the Fort Worth Independent School District, Cause No 141 181289-99 and WHEREAS to date the City has paid $298 175 54 to Cantey & Hanger for its legal services in the subject lawsuit; and WHEREAS the lawsuit is still pending and it is estimated that in addition to the amount authorized to date an additional amount of approximately $20 000 will be needed to continue the defense of this litigation NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH TEXAS That the compensation authorized to be paid to Cantey & Hanger for legal services to represent the City in Pastusek Industries, Inc., v. City of Fort Worth, Sunbelt Industrial Development Corporation, Tarrant Appraisal District. June Garrison.
