Debtor Case No 492-42756- MT 11 (Chapter 11) United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas b) Veteran's Memorial Inc v City of Fort Worth Adversary No 93-4259 United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas c} City of Fort Worth et al v Veteran's Memorial Inc. Case No 4 96-CV 764-Y and Consolidated 4.96-CV 763-Y United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas and d) Veteran's Memorial Inc v Tarrant Appraisal District, Tarrant Appraisal Review Board City of Fort Worth et al , No 96- 158303-95 District Court of Tarrant County 96th Judicial District; and WHEREAS these bankruptcy proceedings and lawsuits are of extraordinary importance and require specialized legal knowledge and expertise in bankruptcy law to represent the City of Fort Worth and WHEREAS the law firm of Colvin &Petrocchi and Joseph Colvin of that firm have substantial expertise in bankruptcy law and have agreed to represent the City in these matters ,~~~ NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH TEXAS That the firm of Colvin and Petrocchi be retained as outside legal counsel pursuant to Section 3 Chapter VI of the City Charter and that Joseph Colvin of that firm be designated to represent the City in the above bankruptcy proceedings and lawsuits involving the property taxes of Veteran s Memorial Inc.
