I. CALL TO ORDER
With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Price called the regular session of
the Fort Worth City Council to order at 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, in the City
Council Chamber of the Fort Worth City Hall, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas.

The invocation was provided by Pastor Mondoe Davis,North Fort Worth Gateway Church.

IV. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES OF THE COUNCIL WORK SESSION AND
THE REGULAR MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 26,2017
Motion: Mayor Pro tem Shingleton made a motion, seconded by Council Member Flores,
that the minutes of the City Council Work Session and the Regular meeting of
September 26, 2017, be approved. Motion passed 9-0.

that Mayor Pro tem Shingleton be reappointed as Mayor Pro tempore for the Fort
Worth City Council effective September 26, 2017. Motion passed 9-0.

Motion: Council Member Moon made a motion, seconded by Council Member Byrd, that
revenue from the property tax rate be increased with the adoption of a tax rate of
$0.805 per $100.00, which is effectively at a 2.19 percent increase in the tax rate
and that Ordinance No. 22929-09-2017 be adopted. Motion passed 9-0.
4. A Resolution Ratifying the Property Tax Revenue Increase Reflected In the
Fiscal Year 2017-2018 Budget, in Accordance with Section 102.007(C) of the
