CALL TO ORDER With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Price called the regular session of the Fort Worth City Council to order at 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, in the City Council Chamber of the Fort Worth City Hall, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas. II. INVOCATION — PASTOR MONDOE DAVIS, NORTH FORT WORTH GATEWAY CHURCH The invocation was provided by Pastor Mondoe Davis,North Fort Worth Gateway Church. III. PLEDGES OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE UNITED STATES AND THE STATE OF TEXAS The Pledges of Allegiance to the United States of America and the State of Texas were recited. IV. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES OF THE COUNCIL WORK SESSION AND THE REGULAR MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 26,2017 Motion: Mayor Pro tem Shingleton made a motion, seconded by Council Member Flores, that the minutes of the City Council Work Session and the Regular meeting of September 26, 2017, be approved. Presentation of Proclamation for Alan Luskey Day Mayor Price presented a proclamation for Alan Luskey Day to Mr. Luskey of Cavender's Stockyards Outfitter formerly known as Luskey's Western Store. 2. Presentation of Quarterly Blue Zones Project Ms. Laura McWhorter, Texas Health Resources, and Mr. Matt Dufrene, Blue Zones Project Fort Worth, appeared befpre Council and provided a quarterly report for the Blue Zones Project. X. ANNOUNCEMENTS BY CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS AND STAFF 1. Upcoming and Recent Events Mayor Price, Mayor Pro tem Shingleton, and Council Members Flores, Moon, Bivens, Allen Gray, and Zadeh announced upcoming and recent events within the City and various Council districts. 2. Recognition of Citizens There were no recognition of citizens. 3. Approval of Ceremonial Travel There was no approval of ceremonial travel.
