One way traffic was necessary to facilitate the installation of a 48-inch water main on Old Decatur Road. In an attempt to enforce one way traffic and prevent traffic fatality,staff recommends that Fort Worth Police be hired to patrol and enforce one way traffic the roadway at the rate of$60/hr for 7 days (in two shifts Monday through Sunday;9/25-10/1)as follows: QM 3 4 2shifts(7amto4pm)and (4pmto11pm)= 18 �. My understanding is that the going rate is$50.00 per hour. Hopefully after the week of police presence,folks will pay heed to the one way signs.
