I. CALL TO ORDER
With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Price 3alled the regular session of
the Fort Worth City Council to order at 7:02 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, in the City
Council Chamber of the Fort Worth City Hall, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas.

Mayor Price presented a proclamation for LaDainian "LT" Tomlinson Day to Mr. LaDainian
Tomlinson in recognition of his 2017 induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
2. Presentation of Proclamation National Friends of Libraries Week
Council Member Flores presented a proclamation for National Friends of the Libraries Week to
Ms. Bunny Gardner, President of the Friends of the Fort Worth Public Library, Inc.
3. Presentation by Fort Worth Sister Cities, Inc.
Ms. Nommo Donald, Chair, Fort Worth Sister Cities Board, and Mr. David Campbell,
representing Fort Worth Sister Cities, Inc., gave a brief presentatio:i relative to the Fort Worth
Sister Cities and Rotary Club of Fort Worth's exchange to Mbabane, Swaziland on
September 1-10, 2017, where they delivered 292 wheelchairs, began a sustainability project of
building a repair shop, and training the people on how to repair wheelchairs and bicycles.

The Notice of Special Hearing set today as the date for the hearing in connection with

Mayor Price opened the public hearing.

metaling, corruption of the Police Department, and support of Chief Fitzgerald.
