HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2594"11-19-~~3A0~3 44 2CVU 1~ Resolution RESOLUTION NO ~Sq~ CANCELING REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS ON NOVEMBER 30, 1999 AND DECEMBER 28, 1999 WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Fort Worth Texas, regularly meets on Tuesday of each week at 10.00 o clock a.m. except for the first and second Tuesday of the month which are scheduled for 7 00 p.m in accordance with Section 3 1 of the City Council Rules of Procedures and WHEREAS, Chapter III Section 5 of the City Charter permits the City Council to meet at such time and place as may be prescribed by ordinance or resolution but not less than 48 regular meetings shall be held each calendar year with not less than three regular meetings each month and not more than one regular meeting held each week and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fort Worth Texas, normally would be meeting at 10 00 a m on Tuesday November 30 1999 and on Tuesday, December 28, 1999 and WHEREAS the City Council desires to cancel the City Council meetings of Tuesday November 30, 1999 for the National League of Cities Conference and Tuesday December 28, 1999 at 10 00 a m because of the Christmas Holiday NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS 1 That the City Council meeting of Tuesday November 30 1999 at 10 00 a m be canceled for the National League of Cities Conference and 2.
