STANDARD CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING RELATED SERVICES
This Amendment No. 2 to City Secretary Contract No. 47078 ("Amendment") is entered
into by and between the City of Fort Worth (hereafter "City"), and Jacobs Engineering Group,
Inc. (hereafter"Engineer"), a corporation registered to do business in the state of Texas.
WHEREAS, City and Engineer previously entered into City of Fort Worth City
Secretary Contract No. 47078 (the "Contract"), on October 5, 2015; and
WHEREAS, the Contract involves Construction Administration and Observation
Services for the construction of the runway extensions of Runway 16R, 16L, and Taxiway A at
Fort Worth Alliance Airport; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute this Amendment to the Contract to
authorize additional compensation to be paid to Engineer; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend the Contract to extend the scope of work
in Attachment A to the Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by the through their duly
authorized representatives, enter into this Amendment:

Article I of the Contract is hereby amended to include the supplementary engineering
services specified in a proposal dated August 29, 2017. a copy of which is attached hereto as
Attachment "A" and incorporated herein.
2.
Article II—Compensation, of the Contract is amended to read in its entirety as follows:
A. The Engineer's compensation shall be in the amount of Seven Million Eight
Hundred Eighty-eight Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty Seven Dollars and Eighty Five Cents
($7,088,927.85) as set forth in Attachment B.

Attachment C of the Contract, Changes and Amendments to Standard Contract shall be
amended to include:
• The 107 day extension provided to the General Contractor to complete Phase If will
require continued Construction Administration and Observation Services for the
Construction of the Runway Extensions of 16R, 16L, and Taxiway Alpha a

Alliance Airport in the amount of$574,295.67. Delays in completing Phase II are due to
weather, materials testing delays, and settlement issues.
• Attachment B, Jacobs Fee Proposal Summary, an increase in total compensation as
associated with the increase in the scope of work in Attachment A in the amount of
$574,295.67; total compensation shall be $7,088,927.85.
4.
All other terms, provisions, conditions, covenants and recitals of the Contract not
expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and effect.
