COUNTY OF TARRANT WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth and Pacheco Koch Consulting Engineers, Inc. (Consultant) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 47835 (The Contract) which was administratively authorized by the City Council on June 1, 2016, for Handley- Meadowbrook Community Center — Fort Worth, Texas Topographic Survey & Platting and WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary to reimburse the Consultant as part of the design services agreement for additional design services for Handley-Meadowbrook Community Center— Park Conversion and Oncor Easement. NOW THEREFORE, City and Consultant, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the Contract: 1 . Article I — Scope of Services, Paragraph (3) shall be added to read as follows: (3) Provide additional design services for the design and detailing of Park Conversion Exhibit and Oncor Easement for the Hand ley-Meadowbrook Community Center Expansion. The cost of this additional service is $2,745.00 Total with no additional reimbursable expenses. The scope of services is described more fully in Pacheco Koch Consulting Engineers, Inc.'s Letter dated August 23, 2017 (Revised), subject: "Additional Services, Handley- Meadowbrook Community Center — Fort Worth, Texas. Park Conversion Exhibit and Oncor Easement, Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. 2. Article II — Compensation, first paragraph, is amended as follows: "Consultant shall be compensated in accordance with the Fee Schedule shown in Attachment "B". Payment shall be considered full compensation for all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to complete the services described in Attachment "B". These services are as follows: PARK CONVERSION EXHIBIT: Pacheco Koch will prepare an exhibit as requested by the client related to the subject property and adjacent properties. This exhibit includes, but is not limited to, boundary surveys, aerial photo exhibits and metes and bounds descriptions. This exhibit will be prepared based on actual on-the-ground surveys of the property previously performed by the firm. ONCOR ELECTRIC DELIVERY COMPANY, LLC EASEMENT DOCUMENT. Based on a boundary survey of the site prepared by our office, Pacheco Koch will prepare one (1) separate instrument dedication document for an Oncor Electric Delivery Company, LLC easement required as a part of development of the site. Included in this item: ■ Survey exhibits and metes and bounds descriptions for each easement. ■ Coordination with Oncor Electric Delivery Company, LLC staff for review and approval of the easement. Not included in this item: ■ Coordination with property owners. • Monumentation of easement corners. We propose that the fee for our current contract be increased to cover personnel expenses involved in these changes as follows: PARK CONVERSION EXHIBIT $ 1,215.00* ONCOR ELECTRIC DELIVERY COMPANY, LLC EASEMENT DOCUMENT $ 1,530.00* TOTAL $ 2,745.00 Terms and conditions shall be the same as per our original agreement. *Please note that boundary surveying services are subject to state and local sales tax. It is our understanding that the work being performed under this proposal will be contracted directly with the City of Fort Worth, a tax-exempt entity.
