AN ORDINANCE INCREASING ESTIMATED RECEIPTS AND APPROPRIATIONS IN THE
INTERGOVERNMENTAL CONTRIBUTION FUND, FROM AVAILABLE FUNDS IN THE
AMOUNT OF $60,055.66, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE OLD DECATUR ROAD
EXTENSION PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; MAKING THIS
ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF PRIOR ORDINANCES; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That in addition to those amounts allocated to the various City departments for Fiscal Year 2017-2018 in the
Budget of the City Manager, there shall also be increased estimated appropriations in the Intergovernmental
Contribution Fund in the amount of $60,055.66, from available funds, for the construction of the Old Decatur
Road Extension Project.
SECTION 2.
That should any portion, section or part of a section of this ordinance be declared invalid, inoperative or void
for any reason by a court of competentjurisdiction, such decision, opinion orjudgment shall in no way impair
the remaining portions, sections, or parts of sections of this ordinance, which said remaining provisions shall
be and remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3.
That this ordinance shall be cumulative of Ordinance 22927-09-2017 and all other ordinances and
appropriations amending the same except in those instances where the provisions of this ordinance are in
direct conflict with such other ordinances and appropriations, in which instance said conflicting provisions of
said prior ordinances and appropriations are hereby expressly repealed.
SECTION 4.
This ordinance shall take effect upon adoption.

Adopt Appropriation Ordinance for Reimbursement Costs from City of Saginaw the Construction of Old
Decatur Road (W J Boaz Road to McLeroy Blvd) Project in the Amount of $60,055.66 (COUNCIL
DISTRICT 2)
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached appropriation ordinance increasing estimated
receipts and appropriations in the Intergovernmental Contribution Fund, Old Decatur Road (W J Boaz
Road to McLeroy Blvd.) Extension Project, in the amount of $60,055.66 (C01749).
DISCUSSION:
On October 22, 2013, (M&C C-26526) City Council authorized an Interlocal Agreement with the City of
Saginaw in the amount of $62,935.00 for reimbursement to the of City of Fort Worth for costs related to
the installation of trees and irrigation along Old Decatur Road (W J Boaz Road to McLeroy Blvd). The
project is now complete. Several trees did not survive after the project was completed. The City of
Saginaw made the request and was compensated for the replacement of the trees in the amount of
$2,879.34 by reducing the amount of reimbursement owed to $60,055.66, which was previously received
and is currently being appropriated with this M&C.
This M&C is to complete the appropriation of the reimbursement already received.
This project is located in COUNCI� DISTRICT 2.
This M&C does not request approval of a contract with a business entity.
FISCAL INFORMATION / CERTIFICATION:
The Director of Finance certifies that upon approval of the above recommendations and adoption of the
attached appropriation ordinance, funds wili be available in the Intergovernmental Contribution Fund.
