To 0 9 mile north of SH 114 Vote on the motion was as follows FOR Lane Silcox Haskin McCray Woods Meadows Webber & Barr OPPOSED None WHEREUPON the motion was declared Approved THE STATE OF TEXAS } COUNTY OF Tarrant } I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of the Order passed by the Fort Worth City Counci l on Play 21 19 96 • APPRO~~D CITY C~l~NG6L ~~ ~~ 1p~" Rev 12=91 ~.~J ~'.~'~,eeQ,J City secrc,#arp of ~ City of Fort Wor~,~~ TEXAS TRANSPORTATION COMIVIISSION DENTON County MINUTE ORDER Page 1 of 2 Pages • District DAL•i-AS WHEREAS, in DENTON COUNTY on INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 35W, from State Highway 114 to 0.9 mile north of State Highway 114 a distance of 0.9 mile, a project to relocate and reconstruct a ramp and ramp frontage road, and reconstruct a shoulder on Interstate Highway 35W is being requested, and WHEREAS, relocation of the ramp and reconstruction of the shoulder is an interim project, which is part of an ultimate design to provide for a new interchange; and WHEREAS, relocation of the ramp will also help to maximize traffic flow around the Texas Motor Speedway and WHEREAS, this action is consistent with the 1995-1999 Strategic Plan strategy to plan, design, and manage highway projects, NOW THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that the executive director is hereby directed to tender the following proposal to Denton County (the county) and the City of Fort Worth (the city): Provided the county and city will. • 1 Provide 100 percent of the cost of all non-donated right of way, clear of obstruction and free of cost to the State, with acquisition procedures to be in accordance with the policies of the Texas Department of Transportation (the department) and with applicable Federal and State laws governing the acquisition policies for acquiring real property 2 Provide the environmental clearance, schematics, right of way maps, field notes, plans, specifications and estimates in accordance with policies and procedures of the department, and subject to approval of the department and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) 3 Provide one hundred percent of the construction cost, estimated at approximately $852,000, to reconstruct a concrete ramp to reconstruct an asphalt ramp frontage road, and reconstruct an asphalt shoulder Provided the department will. Review the construction plans, let the project to contract, and inspect the project.
