Kayser, City Secretary With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Price called the Fort Worth City Council Work Session to order at 3:04 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, in City Council Conference Room 290 of the Fort Worth City Hall, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas. 1. Report of the City Manager—David Cooke, City Manager a. Changes to the City Council Agenda Continue M&C G-19213 to February 13, 2018. b. Upcoming and Recent Events City Council Retreat on Friday, February 9, 2018, at BRIT, 1700 University Drive. c. Organizational Updates and Employee Recognition(s) City Secretary Mary Kayser recognized Allison Tidwell, Assistant to the City Secretary, for achieving her Texas Registered Municipal Clerk designation. d. Informal Reports 1. IR 10103: Proposed Contract with City of Benbrook on Emergency Access Bridge 2. IR 10104: Reorganization of Continuum of Care Board and Proposed Dissolution of Fort Worth Advisory Commission on Ending Homelessness CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION FEBRUARY 6,2018 Page 2 of 3 2. Current Agenda Items -City Council Members Council Member Shingleton will continue ZC-18-002 to March 6, 2018. Council Member Bivens will continue ZC-17-097b to March 6,2018. 3. Responses to Items Continued from a Previous Week a. M&C G-19213 - (ALL COUNCIL DISTRICTS) Adopt Resolution Revising the Policy for Operating Public Improvement Districts (Continued from January 30, 2018 by Staff) This item will be continued to February 13,2018. 4. Overview of Significant Zoning Cases — Dana Burghdoff, Planning and Development Department 5. Briefing on the Economic Impact of Alliance Development - Mike Berry, Hillwood Development Corporation Mr. Mike Berry, Hillwood Development Corporation, gave an overview of the 2017 highlights from the Alliance development and what will be coming in 2018. 6. Presentation on Office of Business Diversity Goals and Initiatives - Robert Sturns, Economic Development Department Mr. Robert Sturns,Economic Development Department,provided a briefing on 2017 activities in the Office of Business Diversity. The department will expand outreach efforts and have their contract compliance system fully functional by Summer 2018. An Availability and Disparity Study is proposed for FY 2019/ 7. Briefing on 2018 Housing Tax Credit Applications - Aubrey Thagard, Neighborhood Services Department Mr. Aubrey Thagard, Neighborhood Services Department, provided information on three projects that will be brought forward to the Council on February 13, 2018, for Resolutions of Support: Columbia at Renaissance Square II — Senior; Palladium Fain Street, And Avenue at Sycamore Park. In addition Columbia at Renaissance Square II — Senior and Palladium Fain Street are requested to receive additional support for Concerted Revitalization and that Columbia at Renaissance Square II — Senior; Palladium Fain Street, And Avenue at Sycamore Park receive additional support for Local Commitment Of Development Funding. 8. City Council Requests for Future Agenda Items and/or Reports Council Member Zadeh—update on the Warrant Forgiveness activities. Council Member Byrd—Quarterly update/presentation from Trinity Metro. 9.
