HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2037A Resolution ~~~ 7 WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth has entered into a Federal Innovative Project Agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation for construction of the TH-35W interchange at Hillwood Boulevard (Phase I), and WHEREAS, the Project involves the acquisition of necessary right- of-way and easments, and WHEREAS,. because these matters are of extraordinary importance and may involve complex civil litigation, it is necessary to retain outside counsel to assist the City Attorney in representing the City, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS 1 That A Burch Waldron III and the firm of Law, Snakard & Gambill, P C be retained as outside counsel pursuant to Section 3, Chapter VI of the City Charter, to assist the City Attorney in representing the City in land acquisition/condemnation matters in connection with the Hillwood Boulevard/IH-35W interchange Project 2 That, as far as practicable, the compensation to be paid Mr Waldron and the f firm is hereby f fixed in an amount not to exceed $15,000 00, Mr Waldron's hourly governmental rate being $175 00 per hour ADOPTED THIS ~~~~~-~- DAY OF , 1995 "~ Ali Church, City Secretary APP ~V~L CITY ~~ ~~ ~~ ~ ~~~/ ~,~ ~"~ CITY OF FORT WORTH
