I. CALL TO ORDER
With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Price called the regular session of
the Fort Worth City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, in the City
Council Chamber of the Fort Worth City Hall, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas.
II. INVOCATION—Pastor Valerie Kitchens, Earth Changers International Ministries
The invocation was provided by Pastor Valerie Kitchens, Earth Changers International
Ministries.
III. PLEDGES OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE UNITED STATES AND THE STATE OF
TEXAS
The Pledges of Allegiance to the United States of America and the State of Texas were recited.
IV. CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL WORK
SESSION AND REGULAR MEETING OF FEBRUARY 13,2018
Motion: Council Member Byrd made a motion, seconded by Mayor Pro tem Shingleton,
that the minutes of the City Council Work Session and Regular meeting of
February 13, 2018, be approved, Motion passed 7-0, Council Members Moon and
Allen Gray absent.

of the City Code Regarding Assignment Pay for Members of the Fire

City Secretary Kayser advised that the presentation for a Certificate of Recognition for
Commissioner Roy Brooks would be scheduled at a later date.

Mr. Bob Willoughby, 6731 Bridge Street#125, completed a Citizen Presentation card relative to
Code Compliance and was recognized by Mayor Price but was not present in the Council
Chamber.

Fort Worth.
