HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 1987~~ -~ ~+ , A Resolution xo /9B7 WHEREAS, ali abutting property owners have requested by written and signed petition, that the City temporarily physically close, at such property owners' expense, the street right-of-way .of Van Natta Lane at a point one hundred (100) feet west of Grandview Drive, at the east property line of Lot 11, Block 11, and Lot 6, Block 12, Fort Oaks Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Texas; and WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the City of Fort Worth has reviewed this request and recommends that the subject street be temporarily closed as requested NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS That the existing street right-of-way of Van Natta Lane at a point one hundred (100) feet west of Grandview Drive, and at the east property line of Lot 11, Block 11, and Lot 5, Block 12, Forty Oaks Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Texas, and as more specifically described in attached Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein, be physically closed for a maximum period of two (2) years with a physical barrier at the abutting property owners' expense, with the City to retain title to the public right- of-way in said street, retaining any and all easements for existing and prospective utilities, and retaining the right of access at all times for the purpose of emergency vehicle access and maintaining existing .and prospective utility facilities located in the aforesaid portions of said street In addition, the City reserves the right, at the sole discretion of the.
