AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 24317
TERMINAL BUILDING OFFICE LEASE AGREEMENT
This AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 24317
("Amendment") is made and entered into by and between the CITY OF FORT WORTH
("Lessor"), a home rule municipal corporation organized under the laws of the State of Texas
and acting by and through its duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and DAN DASE
INSURANCE AGENCY, INC. (`Lessee"), a Texas corporation acting by and through Dan
Dase, its duly authorized President.
The following introductory provisions are true and correct and form the basis of this
Amendment:
A. Lessor and Lessee previously entered into City Secretary Contract ("CSC") No.
24317, as amended by CSC No. 25638 (the "Lease"), a lease of Suite 216 in the Terminal
Building at Fort Worth Meacham International Airport.
B. Lessee wishes to relocate from Suite 216 to the Suite 210 complex in the
Terminal Building. Lessor is willing to consent to Lessee's request on the provisions and
conditions of this Amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the receipt and adequacy of
which are hereby acknowledged, Lessor and Lessee agree as follows:
1. Section 1 (Property Leased) of the Lease is hereby amended to state the following:
1. PROPERTY LEASED.
Lessor hereby demises and leases to Lessee the following real property
(hereinafter referred to as the "Premises") in the Terminal Building
("Terminal") at Fort Worth Meacham International Airport ("Airport") in Fort
Worth, Tarrant County, Texas:
1,205 square feet of carpeted second floor office space identified as the
Suite 210 complex and depicted on Exhibit "A-1", attached hereto and hereby
made a part of this Lease for all purposes.
2. Exhibit "A-1", which describes the amended Premises and is attached to this
Amendment, shall replace and supersede Exhibit"A" of the Lease.

3. This Amendment shall take effect as of January 1, 2001.
4. All capitalized terms used but not defined in this Amendment shall have the meanings
assigned to them in the Lease.
5. All provisions and conditions of the Lease that are not expressly amended herein shall
remain in full force and effect.

SUBJECT AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT (NO. 24317), OFFICE LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH DAN DASE INSURANCE AGENCY, INC. AT FORT WORTH
MEACHAM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 2 to
City Secretary Contract (No. 24317), a lease with Dan Dase Insurance Agency, Inc. for office space in
the terminal building at Fort Worth Meacham International Airport.
DISCUSSION:
Currently, under City Secretary Contract (No. 24317), the Dan Dase Insurance Agency, Inc. leases
Suite 216 on the second floor of the terminal building at Fort Worth Meacham International Airport. The
Aviation Department has received a request from Mr. Dase to move from his current office into the
Suite 210-Complex.
The Suite 210-Complex consists of 1,205 square feet and rents for $10.65 per square foot. The total
revenue received from this lease will be $12,833.25 per year, or $1,069.44 per month. This
amendment will be in effect as of January 1, 2001, and is renewable on an annual basis each October
1, unless canceled by either party with 30 days written notice. Rent during renewal periods will comply
with the rates established by the Aviation Department's Schedule of Rates and Charges.
All other provisions and conditions of the lease agreement shall remain in effect.
The property is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 2.
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION:
The Finance Director certifies that the Revenue Section of the Finance Department will be responsible
for the collection and deposit of funds due to the City under this agreement.
