HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 1881..~ ~,~' ~ v ~ ~e RESOLUTION . /r' ~% %~ A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD ~ IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING ~~ IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, ON, FEBRUARY 9, 1993, AT 10 00 A.M., FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING THE PROPOSED CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS TO ORDINANCE N0. 3011, AS AMENDED, WHICH T5 THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY, AND PROVIDING THAT SAID HEARING MAY CONTINUE FROM DAY TO DAY UNTIL EVERY INTERESTED PARTY AND CITIZEN HAS HAD A FULL OPPORTUNITY TO BE HEARD, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS= That at 10:00 O'clock A.M.,~ Tuesday, February 9, 1993 the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, which is the legislative body of said City, will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Building for the purpose of considering changes and amendments to Ordinance No. 3011, as amended, the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of said City. The purpose of said hearing is to determine whether or not said Ordinance No. 3011, as amended, should be amended so that the zoning classification of the following areas shall be changed as ~` hereinafter described. Z-92-090 Lots 9, a remainder of Lot 13, Lots 14, 15 & 16, Block 11, John C. Ryan Addition Recommended from "B" Two-Family and "E" Commercial to "PD/5U" Planned Development/Specific Use for all uses in the "E" Commercial District and a retail auto parts facility with no service or repair and no access to the subject property permitted on James Street, Site Plan required. Recommended from "C" Multi-Family and "E" Commercial to "E" Commercial (3000 Sycamore School Road) Z-93-003 Lot 2, Block 30, University Place Addition Recommended from "A" One-Family to "A/HC" One-Family/Historic and Cultural Subdistrict 0 ,~ ( 3201 Avondale Avenue ) Z-93-004 North 10' of Lot 16, and the South 40' of 17, Block 24, Ryan Place Addition Recommended from "A" One-Family to "A/HC" One-Family/Historic and Cultural Subdistrict (2739 Sixth Avenue) n - ~ Z-93-005 TEXT AMENDMENT AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, BEING ORDIANCE N0. 3011, AS AMENDED, CODIFIED AS APPENDIX "A" OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH TEXAS (1986), AS AMENDED, BY AMENDING SECTION 178, ON - PREMISE SIGNS, TO FURTHER PROVIDE THAT IN A "PD" PLANNED DEVELOPMENT ZONING DISTRICT, THE PORTABLE SIGN MUST BE DELINEATED ON THE REQUIRED SITE PLAN; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. That the proposed amendments and changes at this hearing will be considered accordance with the provisions of Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution, when published in the official newspaper of the City of Fort Worth, which is a paper of general circulation, one (1) time, shall constitute a notice of hearing, which publication shall"' be made at least ~~ fifteen (15) days prior to such hearing, and all interested parties are urgently requested to be in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Building at the time hereinabove set forth to make any protest or suggestion that may occur to them, and this hearing may continue from day to day until every interested party and citizen has had a full opportunity to be heard.
