WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth has been a member of the Fort Worth Consortium for Employment and Training Programs since 1973; and WHEREAS, the Consortium membership consists of the cities of Arlington, Euless, Fort Worth, Haltom City and White Settlement; and WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth and other Consortium Member Cities have approved resolutions indicating their desire to continue the Consortium Agreement in fiscal year 1993-1994; and WHEREAS, the Job Training Partnership Act regulations require the establishment of Private Industry Councils; and • WHEREAS, recent changes in the Job Training Partnership Act, Pub. L. 97-300, as amended, have mandated certain changes in the composition of and representation on Private Industry Councils; and WHEREAS, these mandatory changes have been adopted by amendment of the by-laws of the Fort Worth Consortium Private Industry Council; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE, CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH: 'That the amendments to the Private Industry Council Bylaws, Article 4B, Section B2 of Article 4B, and Section D2 of Article s5, are hereby approved and the following changes authorized: 1. Expansion of the number of places on the Private Industry Council (PIC) from 22 to 23; • 2.
