A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD
IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING
IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, ON SEPTEMBER 14,
1993, AT 10:00 A.M., FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING
THE PROPOSED CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS TO ORDINANCE N0.
3011, AS AMENDED, WHICH IS THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY, AND PROVIDING THAT SAID HEARING
MAY CONTINUE FROM DAY TO DAY TJNTIL EVERY INTERESTED
PARTY AND CITIZEN HA5 HAD A FULL OPPORTUNITY TO BE
HEARD.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:

That at i.0 :00 O'clock A.M., Tuesday, September 14, .1993, the City
Council of the City of Fort Worth, which is the legislative body
of said City,' will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers
at the Municipal Building for the purpose of considering changes
and amendments to Ordinance No. 3011, as amended, the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of said City. The purpose of
• said hearing is to determine whether or not said Ordinance No.
3011, as amended, should be amended so that the zoning
classification of the following areas shall be changed as
hereinafter described.
Z-93-017 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, BEING ORDINANCE
NO. 3011, AS AMENDED, AND CODIFIED AS APPENDIX "A" OF
THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, (1986), AS AMENDED
BY AMENDING SECTION 1 "DEFINITIONS" TO INCLUDE
DEFINITIONS OF "BED AND BREAKFAST HOME", "BED AND
BREAKFAST TNN", AND "OWNER-OPERATOR", BY AMENDING
SECTION 19 "OFF-STREET PARKING AND LOADING
REGULATIONS", BY ADDING SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR BED
AND BREAKFAST HOMES AND BED AND BREAKFAST INNS, AND BY
AMENDING SECTION 20, "BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT", BY ADDING
BED AND BREAKFAST HOMES AND BED AND BREAKFAST INNS AS
AUTHORIZED SPECIAL EXCEPTIONS UNDER SUBDIVISION "C"; BY
AMENDING SECTION 9A "F-R" "RESTRICTED COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT" TO INCLUDE BED AND BREAKFAST INNS AS A
PERMITTED USE; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE
CUMULATIVE; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING
A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION IN PAMPHLET
FORM; PROVIDING A PENALTY; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION IN
THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.

paper of general circulation, one (1) time, shall constitute a
notice of hearing, ..which publication shall be made at.lEast
fifteen (15) days prior to such hearing, ~xnd all interested
parties are urgently requested to be in the ~='ouncil~Chambers at
the Municipal Building at the time hereinabove set forth to make
any protest or suggestion that may occur to them, and this
hearing may continue from day to day until every interested.

SUBJECT RESOLUTION SETTING REGULAR ZONING HEARING FOR SEPTEMBER, 14, 1993
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that a resolution be adopted setting the regular zoning hearing
for September 14, 1993.
BACKGROUND:
The City Zoning Commission held its regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, August 11,
1993. The resolution contains those zoning dockets recommended by the City Zoning
Commission for approval.
