~E$OLUTION NO.~/
WHEREAS, Section 3.1 of the Citp Council Rules of Procedure
requires that the first Tuesday meeting of the Citp Council of the City of
Fort Worth be scheduled for 7:00 P.M. o'clock unless otherwise officially
changed by the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, Chapter III, Section 5, of the Citp Charter states that
the City Council shall meet at such time and place as may be prescribed by
ordinance or resolution, but not less than 4B regular meetings shall be held
each calendar year with not less than three regular meetings held each month
and not more than one regular meeting held each week; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Texas,
normally would be meeting at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 1992, and on
Tuesday, December 29, 1992; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to cancel the City Council
meetings of December 22, 1992, and December 29, 1992, because of the Christmas
and New Year's Holidays: NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CODNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS,
1. That the City Council meeting of Tuesday, December 22, 1992, at
10:00 a.m., be canceled because of the Christmas Holiday; and,
2. That the City Council meeting of Tuesday, December 29, 1992, at
10:00 a.m., be canceled because of the New Year's Holiday.
