WHEREAS,. on August 9, 1988, the city Council adopted Resolution No. 1341, which established Fort Worth Improvement District No. 2 ("District No. 2") under Chagtez 372, Local Government Code, which district contains approxi- mately 427.254 acres and is located within the area .bounded by_S.H. 377, Western Center_ Boulevard, Teal Drive and Summerfields Boulevard; and WHEREAS, on May 26, 1992, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 1829, which established Fort Worth Improvement District No. 4 ("District No. 4") under Chapter 372, Local Government Code, which district contains approxi- mately 477.411 acres and is a portion of the area bounded by Western Center Boulevard, North Beach Street and S.H. 377; and WHEREAS, the primary services provided by District No. 2 and District No. 4 are landscaping and special fencing in and along boulevards, parks and open spaces, and the cost of such services is paid for by special assessments against the land in each of the districts and the land owners; and WHEREAS, District No. 2 is south of and adjacent to District No. 4, and both districts are a part of the Park Glen residential area being developed by Hillwood Construction Company and HillwoodlPark Glen Ltd.; and WHEREAS, when the land owners in District No. 2 and District No. 4 platted the Park Glen residential area, the land was sub- divided so that approximately 32 lots are bisected by the common boundary between the districts (north line of District No. 2 and south line of District No. 4); and WHEREAS, this places the 32 lots partly in District No. 2 and partly in District No. 4, and the owners of such lots have petitioned the City to adjust the common boundary between the districts so that 23 of such lots are located entirely in District No. 2 and nine of such lots .are located entirely in District No. 4; and WHEREAS, the requested boundary adjustment is appropriate and will insure that each lot and the lot owners are assessed by S ~:(~1~~`~~'bnly one of the said improvement districts; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: ..~ CI'!'Y OF FORT WORTH / .. .: b. The following lots shall henceforth be located exclusively in Fort Worth Improvement District No. 4: That the mutual common boundary line between Fort Worth Improvement District No. 2 and Fort Worth Improvement District No. 4 (north line of District No. 2 and south line of District No. 4) be and is hereby determined, fixed and adjusted as follows: a. The following lots shall henceforth be located exclusively in Fort Worth Improvement District No. 2: Lots 15-18, Block 27 (Phase VIII); Lots 27, 28 and 35, Block 40 (Phase IIi, Section 3b); Lots 16-22, Block 45 (Phase III, Section 3b); Lots 5 and 19, Block 90 (Phase VIII); Lot 6, Block 91 (Phase VIII); and Lots 25-30, Block 98 (Phase ViiI); all of such lots being located in the Park Glen Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Texas. Lots 6 and 18, Block 90; Lots 3 and 7, Block 91; and Lots 7, 8, 9, 18 and 19, Block 98, all of such lots being located in Phase VIII of the Park Glen Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Texas. That, except for this adjustment, the boundaries of Fort Worth Improvement District No. 2 and Fort Worth Improvement District No. 4 will remain unchanged. SECTION 2. That this Resolution amends Resolution No. 1341 adopted on August 9, 1988, and Resolution No. 1829, adopted on May 26, 1992. SECTION 3. That this Resolution adoption of the same in a City Council. SECTION 1. shall become effective and binding upon regular open meeting of the Fort Worth ADOPTED this ~ day of , 1992. November 19, 1992 Mayor Kay Granger and Kembers of the Fort Worth City Council 1000 Throckmorton Fort Worth, Texas 76102 Re: Boundary Adjustment Between Fort Worth Improvement District No. 2 and Fort Worth Improvement District No. 4 Dear Ladies and Gentlemen: We, the owners of the undersigned lots, hereby petition the Fort Worth City Council to adjust the common boundary .between Fort Worth Improvement District No. 2 ("District No. 2°) and Fort Worth Improvement District No. 4 ("District No. 4") so that such lots, which are currently bisected by the common boundary, will be located as follows: 1. The following lots are to .be located exclusively in Fort Worth Improvement District No. 2: Lots 15-18, Block 27 (Phase VIII); Lots 27, 28 and 35, Block 40 (Phase III, Section 3b); Lots 16-22, Block 45 (Phase III, Section 3b); Lots 5 and 19, Block 90 (Phase VIIi); Lot 6, Block 91 (Phase VIII); and Lots 25-30, Block 98 (Phase VIII); all of such lots being located in the Park Glen Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Texas. 2. The following lots are to be located exclusively in Fort Worth Improvement District No. 4: Lots 6 and 18, Block 90; Lots 3 and 7, Block 91; and Lots 7, 8, 9, 18 and 19, Block 98; all of such lots being located in Phase VII] of the Park Glen Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Texas.
