This work is related to ongoing project tasks as FNI is working with the City to determine the future trail routing and design and the trail connections, so the team can move forward with the Lake Worth Trail Final Design project. The Scope of Work detailed below refers to the widening of the trail segment, defined on the attachment called "Exhibit B,"from the current width of 8'to a new width of 10'. AMENDMENT TASKS 1. Trail Layout Adjustments -$8,143.00 The main strategy of this revision would be to offset the trail edges an additional 1' on each side of the existing centerline alignment. However, the 10' width may require an alignment adjustment in select areas where avoidance of trees, manholes, guywires, or any other significant existing surface features. This will result in the following revisions: A. Adjustment of any affected trail coordinates, curve data, and plan notes currently called out in the 90% set of plans. B. Adjustments to the trail jointing. C. Modification of pedestrian bridges"C"and "D"from 8'to 10' in the structural design plans and specifications. D. Adjustment of fencing layout that runs parallel to the trail. E. Modification of the traiihead"Type B"to work with the new widthlalignment. 2. Trail Grading Adjustments- $13,942 The 10' trail width will require adjustments to the current grading and erosion control plans. It is anticipated that the 10' width will have a wider disturbance footprint that will need to be reflected in the grading plans. Additional modifications will include: A. Re-grading the trail to incorporate any alignment/layout changes resulting from adjustments described above. B. Adjustments of the limits of construction line and any erosion control devices that run along it. C. Modification of any retaining wall layouts affected by a grading change. D. Structural review of retaining wall changes. 3. Trail Detail Adjustments - $5,264.00 All site details need to be modified to reflect the 10'wide concrete trail.
