RHSItEAS, the City of Fort Rort6 wishes to encourage the development of a proposed retail center at Highvap
199 and Interstate Highway Loop B20; and
RHEREAS, the proposed development is partially within the corporate limits of the City of Port Rorth, and
partially within the corporate limits of the City of Lake Rorth; and
RHffitEAS, the City of Fort Rorth recognises the mutual benefits to be derived by both cities by the
development of said retail center; and
RHHtEAS, the Citp of Lake Rort6 has expressed concerns about the impact an certain infrastructure in their
community which may be affected by the development; and
RHEREAS, the City of Port Rorth wishes to address and satisfy the concerns of the City of Lake Korth
regarding infrastructure capacities and i~rovewients;
NOR, THEREFORE, BB IT RESOLVED by the Citp Council of Port Rorth, Texas:
1. That subject to the execution of a satisfactory Community Facilities
Agreement by developer of said site, the Citp of Fart Rorth will provide
• necessary sanitary sewer service to said site pursuant to an interlocal agreement
with the City of Lake Rarth for the prorata operating cost of the Lake Rorth lift
station;
2. That the City of Fort Rorth will work with the developer and the
City of Lake Rorth to address the current drainage problem at Comanche
Trail, including the installation of an appropriate culvert to adequately drain
flows from an acceptable storm level to be determined with input from engineers
of both cities. Rhile this drainage problem is not directly related to the
proposed development, a cast effective solution will be agreed upon between the
City of Port Rorth and the developer; ,
3. That as engineering plans are developed following the approval of a
preliminary plat for the proposed development, the expression of any further
engineering concerns will be addressed by the City Engineer of the City of Fort
Aorth, in cooperation with the developer and the City Engineer of the Citp of
Lake Worth.
