HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract 32411-A9 AMENDMENT NO. 9 TO AGREEMENT FOR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN SERVICES NEIGHBORHOOD POLICE STATION AND TRAFFIC DIVISION FACILITY STATE OF TEXAS § ` v�q § CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. c3aLl I`—A 1 COUNTY OF TARRANT § WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth and Perkins Will (Architect) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 32411 (The Contract)which was authorized by the City Council by M&C C-20926, the 30th day of August, 2005; and Amendment No.1 (authorized by M&C C-222276 on July 31, 2007) for design completion and bidding phase services($343,972.00);Amendment No.2 (authorized by M&C C-22404 on September 25, 2007) for LEED design and certification ($28,200.00), Amendment Nos. 3, 6 and 7 were administratively executed in the amount of $18,450.00 to re-plat the existing property, redesign the cul- de-sac, resolve the fagade of the front elevation, reimbursable expenses, and additional topographic survey services; Amendment No.4 (authorized by M&C C-23259 on December 16, 2008)for construction administration services ($152,055.00); Amendment No.5 (authorized by M&C C-23801 on September 29, 2009)for additional reimbursable expenses ($52,148.31);Amendment No.8 (authorized by M&C C-24746 on March 1, 2011) for additional construction administration services for a longer construction period ($96,496.62); and WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary to reimburse the Architect for the vacation of the proposed water meter utility easement and dedication of new water meter utility easement within the 1100 Nashville Avenue platted property as a result of relocating the proposed water meter vault location. NOW THEREFORE, City and Architect, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the Contract: 1. Article 1.1, SECTION I—SERVICES OF THE ARCHITECT, a paragraph is added to read as follows.- "Provide ollows:"Provide additional topographic survey services to include the vacation of a water meter utility easement and the dedication of a new water meter utility easement within the platted property. The cost of this additional service is $1,700.00 total. The scope of services is described more fully in the North Texas Surveying letter dated August 31, 2011, which is attached hereto and as Attachment"A"and made a part of this Agreement." 2. Paragraph 1 of SECTION V-COMPENSATION TO ARCHITECT, is amended as follows: "The total compensation for all of the assignments to be performed by Architect as described in CHARACTER AND EXTENT of ARCHITECT'S SERVICES hereof shall be a fixed fee of $936,271.62 plus up to$56,948.31 in reimbursable expenses." 3. All other provisions of this Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and effect.
