SUBJECT: 2018 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FACILITY TIMELINES

The purpose of this informal report is to provide the planned timeline for implementing the facilities that
were approved by voters for the 2018 Bond Program.
Proposition B, Park and Recreation Facilities, includes the construction of two new community centers,
renovation of two existing community centers, and the purchase of a leased building that has been used
as a community center for many years. This proposition also includes the construction of a new
clubhouse for the recently renovated Rockwood Golf Course, and new Park and Recreation service center
facility to replace WWII era wooden barracks.
Propositions C through F include a new library in far southwest Fort Worth, a new fire station in north Fort
Worth, replacement of an outdated fire station, construction of a new North Animal Care and Control
facility, and a new headquarters for the Police South Patrol Division.
The timelines shown below represent the planned timeline and completion method for each of the
facilities.
