RESOLUTION
On this day at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Texas,
a Resolution was proposed which was seconded and which was approved and adopted by a
majority vote of the Council, the Resolution being as follows:
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth, Texas, made certain improvements on Ammunition Dump
Road which caused a 2.370 acre portion of the roadway to become no longer needed for
highway or public transportation purposes or for the use of citizens as a road, said
land being more particularly described in the attached Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the aforesaid highway improvements will require that 2.390 acres of other
land owned by the City of Fort Worth, Texas, be conveyed to the State for highway and
public transportation purposes, said land being more particularly described in the
attached Exhibit B; and
WHEREAS, the State and City mutually agree to an even exchange of said land to
facilitate the highway improvements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Texas,
hereby requests that the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation declare
that certain 2.370 acre tract of land, which is no longer needed for use of citizens
as a road, surplus for highway or public transportation purposes, so that it may be
quitclaimed to the City of Fort Worth, Texas, in exchange and as full consideration
for the City's conveyance of the needed land to the State.

Being 2.370 acres of land, more or less, situated in the County of
Tarrant, State of Texas, and being out of the T.M. Moody Survey,
Abstract No. 1069, P. Caldwell Survey, Abstract No. 365 and the J.W.
Haynes Survey, Abstract No. 795 and being portions of three parcels
conveyed to the State of Texas as recorded in Volume 3123, Page 634,
Volume 3121, Page 611 and Volume 3109, Page 338 of the Deed Records,
Tarrant County, Texas, which 2.370 acres of land, more or less, are more
particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the South right-of-way line of
Ammo Dump Road and the East line of Academy Blvd. (Old County
Road 1012) as recorded in Volume 388-213, Page 3 of the Plat
Records of Tarrant County. Said intersection being North 00
degrees 01 minutes West a distance of 1,473.35, and South 89
degrees 55 minutes East, a distance of 12.00 feet from the
Southwest corner of Lot 1, Block 1, White Settlement Commercial
Addition as recorded in Volume 388-213, Page 3 of the Deed
Records, Tarrant County, Texas.
(1) THENCE North 00 Degrees 01 Minutes West, along the East
line of said Academy Boulevard, a distance of 2.88 feet to
a point of tangency with a curve to the right;
(2) THENCE in a northeasterly direction along the arc of a
circular curve to the right, having a radius of 88.00 feet
and through a central angle of 62 Degrees 36 Minutes 41
Seconds, a distance of 96.16 feet to a point in the
proposed Southerly right-of-way line of White Settlement
Road;
(3) THENCE South 89 Degrees 21 Minutes East along said proposed
Southerly right-of-way line of White Settlement Road, a
distance of 71.66 feet to the beginning of a curve to the
left whose center bears North 00 Degrees, 05 Minutes, 01
Seconds East;
(4) THENCE in a northeasterly direction, continuing along the
proposed Southerly right-of-way line of White Settlement
Road, along the arc of a circular curve to the left, having
a radius of 1,220.00 feet and through a central angle of 40
Degrees, 31 Minutes, 56 Seconds, a distance of 863.05 feet
to a point of tangency;
(5) THENCE North 49 Degrees, 23 Minutes East continuing along
the proposed Southerly right-of-way line of White
Settlement Road, a distance of 442.55 feet to a point of
tangency;
(6) THENCE in a northeasterly direction, continuing along the
proposed Southerly right-of-way line of White Settlement
Road, along the arc of a circular curve to the right,
having a radius of 1,140.00 feet and through a central
angle of 05 Degrees 59 Minutes 21 Seconds, a distance of
119.16 feet to a point of tangency;
(7) THENCE North 55 Degrees, 22 Minutes, East continuing along
the proposed Southerly right-of-way line of White
Settlement Road, a distance of 94.52 feet to a point in the
North line of Old White Settlement Road (County Road 4022);
(8) THENCE South 89 Degrees 43 Minutes East along the North
line of Old white Settlement Road, a distance of 9.44 feet
to a point in the Southerly line of relocated Old White
Settlement Road, said point being in a curve whose center
bears North 54 Degrees 53 Minutes 45 Seconds East;
(9) THENCE in a southeasterly direction along the southerly
right-of-way line of relocated Old White Settlement Road
and along the arc of a circular curve to the left having a
radius of 140.00 feet and through a central angle of 55
Degrees 07 Minutes 26 Seconds, a distance of 134.69 feet to
a point of tangency;
(10) THENCE North 89 Degrees 46 Minutes East continuing along
the southerly line of Old White Settlement Road, a distance
of 117.43 feet to a point in the existing Southerly
right-of-way line of Ammo Dump Road;
(11) THENCE South 00 Degrees 23 Minutes West along the southerly
right-of-way line of Ammo Dump Road, a distance of 6.99
feet to a point in a curve whose center bears South 00
Degrees 23 Minutes 08 Seconds West;
(12) THENCE in a southwesterly direction continuing along the
southerly right-of-way line of Ammo Dump Road, along the
arc of a circular curve to the left, having a radius of
596.62 feet and through a central angle of 34 Degrees 52
Minutes 00 Seconds, a distance of 363.07 feet to a point of
tangency. Said point being 140.00 Southeasterly of and
right angles to Ammo Dump Road centerline survey station
117 + 19.34;
(13) THENCE South 55 Degrees 31 Minutes West continuing along
the southerly right-of-way line of Ammo Dump Road a
distance of 822.97 feet to a point of tangency;
(14) THENCE in a southwesterly direction continuing along the

856.20 feet and through a central angle of 34 Degrees 34
Minutes 00 Seconds, a distance of 516.55 feet to a point of
tangency;
