Director Moon asked that the following statement be included in the minutes:
"Over the last 6 months and particularly in the last few weeks, there has been a lot of
conversation about funding options for public transportation.
For any change in the funding of public transportation, it is my position that the funding of
public transportation be taken to the public for a public vote.
However, any consideration to the change of funding for public transportation, CAN NOT
and MAY NOT impact the half penny of sales tax that is allocated to CCPD.
CCPD dollars should not be touched.
To further clarify ambiguous commentary, no sales tax increase nor property tax increase
should be considered in the funding of public transportation, unless voted on by the public
and in a public referendum."

Worth Crime Control and Prevention Board of Directors at 1:45 p.m., on Tuesday,
